blog-0659617001346086881.jpgSo, am I the only one who is actually excited for school?

I am going into my Junior year of highschool, and it seems like it is going to be quite an exciting year.

Not only do I have very few classes, but most of them are electives.

I am taking Art, Graphic Design, and Theater Pro. Does that not seem exciting?

In addition to being in Theater, I am going to be in the play "Alice in Wonderland." I am playing a character who tries to go against the Queen of Hearts, but gets executed for his treason.

That sounds amazing!

As for the school year, it seems like it will be amazingly easy. At first I was going to be in Advanced English III, but decided to go to regular due to the fact that I want a job o3o

So, down to the questions!

Answer these in the comments please!

  • Are you ready for School? Why/Why not?
  • Do you think this year will be a good one?
  • What grade are you heading into?
  • Are you counting down the days until Summer yet?

Thank you for reading you guys! Make sure you click that shiny "Follow Blog" button on the top right!

Crona, out~

I'll just leave a picture here as well:

that sounds pretty interesting what you're taking, I wish I could have taken those subjects when I was you age haha!

ok, to answer you questions:

1. Are you ready for school?

hmmm. no, even though I started like 3 weeks ago, because it's really extremelly boring.

2.Do you think this year will be a good one?

OMG! yes! :D ...if everything goes on my favor, by the end of the year I might be graduating! that's all I want

3.What grade are you heading into?

hehehe...I'm a little older for that question, but I'm finishing a grade in software development

4. Are you counting down the days until summer yet?

hmmmm...eenope!

well, i've already begun school since a week ago, so i guess i am ready for it.

why? because i have classes such as art class, photography class, English B, and motherfucking audio engineering/music production. i've completed a huge chunk of my main courses so i have lots of wiggle room to work with. plus, i've found out that there is a store that sells music not far from the school i am in. what's not to love about it?

i'm heading into my last year of high school. after that, i graduate. i THINK, however, that i can take a 4th year of school should i decide to, but i think i'm gonna do something else the next year after school is out of my way. among other things i'd like to perfect, or at least become pretty good at music. then i dunno. find a job, perhaps?

no, i'm not counting days. why would i? people are demonizing school way too much, imo. i haven't had a single problem in school save for not having a single friend for over a decade in it. and that's my choice. i don't see the advantage of having friends in school. i'm on a different plane than they are. i do not wish to be a part of their herd. i am my own, individual force a nature.

Am I ready?

Aw yeah! ... Kinda. XD

Will it be a good one?

Hope so! It should be!

Grade?

Highs cool senior. After this semester, though, full-time college student!

Last question?

Nope.

Since I don't go to school anymore I can't answer your questions :P

But a theater class sounds awesome! I have always admired actors. But that's probably because I can't act for myself :P Hope that you will have a good year and that you do great in your play :)

Nice one, Finest. Your life spikes my interest :P

  • Are you ready for School? Why/Why not?

I'm ready for school. I have to get up every morning at when I'd have to for school already so I'm set there. Also, I kinda want to have some sense of order and purpose in my life and school usually accomplishes that.

  • Do you think this year will be a good one?

I don't see why not. It's my first year of high school but I know alot of the upperclassmen already.

  • What grade are you heading into?

I'm heading into freshman year of high school.

  • Are you counting down the days until Summer yet?

Nope.

I love this blog already and I'm only one entry in. :)

Now to answer your questions…

  • Are you ready for School? Why/Why not?

I'm ready for school! Too bad I finished it up a while ago. Actually, I still have a sort of weird residual posttraumatic stress disorder from college.

I have these horrifying dreams sometimes when I end up about one class short and get called back to university as an older adult. The dream always ends in the same way. I fail French class and my degree is revoked.

  • Do you think this year will be a good one?

For me, I think that every year will be a good one. That's just my nature - unrelenting positivity. I can't help it. :D

  • What grade are you heading into?

None, thank goodness :P

  • Are you counting down the days until Summer yet?

Nope, the dog days of summer drive me insane. Summers are my worst seasons. I'm not sure why, because I actually do my best to enjoy them. However, it always seems like I run into my greatest obstacles during summer times. It has been that way my entire life.

Glad you're excited about this! Most people hate going to school just because it's something they're obligated to do (I hated it because of cruelty on the part of my peers and family but that's what you get when you grow up in the boonies), but the most important thing you're doing in high school is constructing memories; take every opportunity to make them good. As for your questions:

  • I work for a university, so I'm always ready. I deal with it every day. Last Friday was new student orientation, of which I always conduct the technical portion. This being August, we had more new people coming in than usual, most of them being high school graduates who wanted one last summer vacation before starting all over again. What always surprises me is how much more attentive and polite the 17/18 year-olds are than the 30 and 40-somethings that come in here. It's the older ones that won't put down their phones and pay attention to me, and need me to repeat the same instructions five times before I give up and just do it for them. Those teenagers listened to me, followed directions, and we wrapped up the whole thing in half the time it normally takes. Any of you who are soon starting college/univeristy/whatever form of higher education you want to pursue: be like those wonderful people I instructed on Friday.
  • I think of years as they are according to the calendar, not school years. Get back to me in December.
  • Not applicable.
  • Nope. Classes never end here. Students get the week of Christmas off and I get two days at that time. The rest of the year is business as usual for staff and students alike. They get no other breaks. Doing it that way lets people graduate much more quickly, but it can be overwhelming for some.

Stay classy, Crona, and have fun.

I don't go to school anymore I can't answer your questions

Yeah! Old(er) people represent! But seriously, 23 shouldn't feel so old. :(

-Nope. Actually, pretty recently, I've seen a large amount of love for schooling in general. Then it kind of dies after the first week, but the amount of people who still love school after week one has been increasing.

-School started seven weeks ago. 7 weeks of pure awesomeness. Was I ready for this awesome term? Hell no.

-Considering that this term has been one hell of an amazing term, and my passion for science (within school) has been rejuvenated, definitely so.

-I am currently in grade 11.

-I dread the summer. Summer is the worst. Barely any intellectual stimulation beyond a few channels like numberphile or sixtysymbols or periodic videos. Also, it's when I can't wear jackets to conceal myself. You don't want to see me without a jacket on.
