No matter what, the staff is on your side. Hello there, everyone! Thank you for taking the time to read this. This post is to let you know that the staff at the MLP Forums are always working to make sure that this place is a safe, comfortable location for those who just want a slice of wholesomeness. Like coming home to your favorite comfort food after a long, hard day. A place where kindness reigns supreme, where you can let your guard down, and where you can find plenty of trustworthy friends without even trying. And that goes DOUBLE for the staff! We're not just enforcers. We care about what's best for our users and this community. Whenever you're in need, you can always rely on the staff. But sad as it is to say, there are those who don't appreciate the wholesome atmosphere we're trying to create and maintain. Some people take for granted how nice it is here, and when they don't get what they want, they try to tear it down and ruin it for others. When in doubt, seek out the staff. I'd like to take a moment to address matters related to any user that has been banned from this platform. We're not just creating and enforcing rules here. As stated before, we're trying to create a safe and wholesome community where anyone can feel welcome. Which leads me to this very vital point... If a user has been banned from the MLP Forums, please trust that the staff has VERY valid & well documented reasons for doing so. Therefore, anyone who was banned was a danger to the safety of this community and its users. However, humble and shameless don't usually go together. Those who get called out seldomly have the ability to accept the truth and admit when they've done wrong. Instead, they flock to social media, messaging apps, and other forums to try and twist the narrative. They try to make themselves look like victims with half-truths and convenient stories, pretending to be your friend, all while trying to make the staff here look like bullies and monsters. Projection at its finest. And we don't mind being held to a higher standard, as our users deserve it, but we don't like when liars try to prey on innocent users with their narratives and crazy schemes. We might not be able to control everything that happens outside of this forum, but we are here for you beyond these forum pages. So if you should encounter someone on Discord, Social media, or some other location trying to bring you into their fold against us... If you should have fears, hesitations, or superstitions about who is trying to contact you; feel absolutely free to reach out to us, the staff. We have moderators and admins that know who is worth your trust and who isn't. We can speak up on behalf of sweethearts, but we can also tell you when to avoid the trouble-makers. Please, don't ever feel like you can't reach out to us for the things that happen outside this forum. You can, because we're here for you. We'll protect your safety, everywhere. At the end of the day, this place is for ponies, friendship, and fun. We want to make it safe for everyone to enjoy all those things, especially those who need and appreciate it. That's what a community should be; a shared sense of safety for everyone. No worldly issues to get in the way of what we love, just fun and understanding. Take me, for example~! I'd love to be the hero that everpony can depend on, and if going above and beyond to keep this forum and its users safe is the best way to do so, then consider it morphin time for me! We trust the community to report Guideline violations and other disruptions, but we also want all of you to trust us for more. We want to be you friends and confidants, because we are always keeping a look out on your behalf. If you're not sure who to trust, let us be the guiding voice of reason that you need. Even if you're not sure which staff member to reach out to first, don't worry about it! We can always redirect you to whichever staff member can help you out in the best and the most efficient way possible. (I was asked to make an official statement on this - which I think is silly but here it is. I have been provoked and summoned! Viewed all sides and angles and here is the official proclamation.) Announcement: TL:DR; Act I - People will be free to celebrate their family/friend-based holidays on MLPForums without being harassed or aggressively taunted about political matters to the public. Act: II - The second part is me making it theatrical since I'm used to people wanting exactly that whenever a change is made. :v Remember, guys: No politics are to be forced on the public face of the forums! This one's for the newer members or the members in the back, who might have missed it. No excuses. Go here for politics. Anybody who opposes this rule shall be faced with the Guidelines as if it were an old monarch. Similar situation to: King George III If you find the Guideliness are too "oppressive" and like you're "walking on eggshells" because we are simply asking you to not to be a mean to people ... Then prepare for a new Independence Day! I'll bring the fireworks. Just as the Founding Fathers left the "oppressive" Monarch of Guidelines they did not agree to. Off to a "much better place." Independence from forced politics so that everyone is a lot more comfortable with each other is a pretty chill chill rule. A mutually agreed upon arrangement. Should be a good day, then. We should give it a name. The day we became independent from forcing politics onto people. Let us call it Independence day! Original! I know. I thought it up, myself. So, on July 4th on MLPForums, we learned not to force politics on people and let people enjoy their BBQ and digital fireworks. Should anyone protest... more BBQ and fireworks shall be had! Provoke silly behavior and get silly responses. Just don't be mean. The Guidelines can be summed up in that way. Since music is good for the soul. Here's some more King George III references. Fun fact: King George III actually had a heckin' cute and wholesome relationship with his wife! Perhaps that is the true Easter egg here. Meet the Moderation Team - (They're actually really sweet and caring! Just don't try to use their compassion as loopholes for leniency). Letters to Royalty - In Staff's promotion - there will be another section for you guys to post and communicate in! Cast Character interaction. I'm not a big fan of this one since I prefer more 1 on 1 engagement with staff but cast characters will be more active and engaging with users with more shenanigans!

Awww Samural, thank you for posting this, lovely. It shall go wonderfully with the new addition to the site where people will be able to connect more with staff through anonymous posting. Hidden threads, etc for the more... shy types who are scared or worried to speak up. Staff is here for you. We are constantly managing the up keep and safety of the site for users to enjoy. So, even if we seem far and distant or detached or rarely acknowledge your shy/hidden presence... if you're here, enjoying the site and community, we're happy to know that and happy to help in any way.

Raaah! I'm an artist currently stuck in a mlp research rabbit hole to try and write (and maybe make but knowing my procrastination issues it might be a while lol) a fan comic and it's taking way longer than expected lol. I love reading peoples theories on things in FiM!! I'm a bit of a chronic forum lurker so I may not post much but I wanna try and become more social eventually and I'm hoping being on a forum will help me come out of my shell!

today not great; my mother was being controlling about stuff and trying to decide for me where my stuff should go [cabinets] etc at the bathroom and when i tried to tell her thats not how i wanted it.. she literally told me to not be so pathetic when i told her i wanted it differently.. last night also didnt end well and today i experience that in anxiety and heavy feelings. i love my family but this really wasnt nice..

Chapter 1 is short. It introduces Confetti Kei, who’s a popular singer in Equestria. She’s from Vanhoover, but recently transferred to Ponyville temporarily. Confetti wants to be more popular, so she decides to start a sweets line, specifically with cookies. Each of her 6 cookies represents a different song! It ends with Confetti Kei waiting for potential clients on premiere day. I know chapter 1 is short, but it’s my first comic, so forgive me. I’ll guarantee you that the next chapter will be longer. Note: Confetti Kei is based on Ennaria

Rested but happy. Talked about the feeling of loneliness and lack of a romantic partner with my sister who feels the same. Helped a lot.

And I have learned that the pursuit of happiness is a journey. It does not mean ignoring the dark or the bad -- but working together to get through the dark clouds and find the rainbows together. As an American you'd think I'd see him with resentment and yet- I am so endeared by how wholesome he and his wife are together. Also "King George" is such a cute name, too! And speaking of ships.. *unravels a scroll in her hand, with mischief in her eyes* Do you see that one in the distance over there? 🚢 There is a lovely friend-ship taking roots even through the harsh, cemented clash of politics that got thrown on them. I can see it overseas, there. They almost started off as enemies from the collateral damage that hit us in division of politics but later realised that things are a little more nuanced and that their journey in life is a lot more similar than any ephemeral illusions could convinced them of. *offers a soft, royal smile of approval* @Avery and @Clawdeen may your friend ship be blessed, may it bloom through any or all challenges and serve as a perfect example of how connections go beyond silly labels of this distracting, physical world. I went from being heartbroken to seeing the warmth restored to my heart from everyone pitching in to be involved and help. So long as all of you are safe, growing or blooming -- not getting lost in the darkest parts of our own minds -- I can safely step away and know that things are in good hands. Again, you guys are making me emotional. This is what my return to MLPForums was all about to begin with. Timeless friendships, community and growing together.
