About the ponies shop, are you allowed to request anything or is it limited to bases? ( i mean your dA shop )

If you want something, I can try and edit a base for you; it depends on what it is.

Hell no. I have two alicorn OCs, tho one stays within my fanfic. I hesitate to bring him out of there due to the points raised; in my fanfic, he's Cadance's cousin and his magic is empathy based. But he is certainly not overpowered. He gets pwned by the big bad, and Twilight has to teach him how to use his magic properly. Yet I bet some people would still point fingers and scream "Gary Stu!"

I've seen some terrible OCs who are pegasi, unicorns and earth ponies, yet there are still people who assume that all alicorns are OP Sues. To my mind, it's the character not the species that indicates Suedom.

I have to say that I do prefer the new Doctor as being a return to the days when the Doctor was a grumpy old git rather than a young man... sorry to fans of the new Dr Who, but I grew up with watching episodes with Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker. I find the new episodes entertaining, but they're still not a patch on the old Dr Who episodes!

I agree. The whole "everypony hates me but I still made good" trope is so overplayed, it isn't funny.

What would work better, in my opinion, would be Snowdrop getting lots of help and attention, but still wanting to become independant. Perhaps she worries about being reliant on other ponies for the rest of her life, and becoming a burden. She could be told that she can't do certain things, and other ponies trying to stop her cuz they don't want her to get hurt; in other words, they're kind to her but cuz they see her as helpless, she sets out to prove them wrong.

That would be much better; a triumph over adversitary, and without every other pony around Snowdrop being painted as a bully or indifferent.

I just wonder at how many astronauts are still lost in space and whatever happened to them. O.o But then I'm morbid like that.

Btw with dogs, I can relate; my dog that I had back when I was a teen, I still think of her cuz she was a good companion. She died at the age of fifteen from being put down due to kidney tumours so at least she had a good life. I'd like a dog now but can't cuz I live in a flat and don't have a garden.

I agree. I said to a friend of mine that the Twilicorn episode would have done a hell of a lot better as a two parter rather than just one episode. The first part could be the mixed up cutie marks, ending on a cliffhanger with Twilight reverting to character and having a panic attack over what to do cuz it all seems so hopeless. Part two could be her eventually, after spending time studying books, trying out a couple of ideas that don't work and tearing her mane out over the problem coming up with the "show friends" idea. That would have worked a lot better; I think personally that the writers rushed the episode.

Btw, I know what skewbald means; just don't like using the term "paint" to describe a pony with patches. X_x Dunno what term would really suit a pony with indigo and dark red patches... XD
