Collision glanced down disinterestedly at the weapons, before addressing the group. "I can wall jump!" he exclaimed, "I can climb stuff, bounce on things...." he trailed off, realising something. "That's a lot of weaponry..."Why do we need so much? It's just an adventure right?

The Poacher had been activated. Arcane energy flowed through the conduit of its body, fuelling the creature's facsimile heart. Chilling blue light shone from the empty sockets of the creature's eyes, illuminating the space around him. The light also saw. The Poacher was in a stone room, a laboratory filled with unicorn scientists. The scientists watched with fascination as the Poacher began to come to life, talking amongst themselves while jotting down information. The head scientist and another unicorn approached the awakened creature. "It... it worked! So, do we tell the princess?" The head unicorn scoffed at this idea, "tell the princess? You mean, distract the princess of the night for a simple experiment?" he laughed bitterly. "This creature is nothing more than an age old plaything, an experiment into the creation of artificial life. I very much doubt it's supposed abilities... nevertheless, we have worked to long on this thing to simply toss it aside. So it's meant to take orders from high status..." he directed himself at the Poacher. "Number seven. I have a task for you; find and capture a live Phoenix, then bring it back here!" There was a collective gasp from the scientists, as they waited for a reaction from the Poacher. It didn't move. The head scientist sighed, and smiled to himself. "What a pity. It looks like our weapon is faul..." Before he could finish, the Poacher leapt across the room, and through the single window. The unicorns were stunned into silence, and the head scientist's jaw dropped. The Poacher took in his surroundings; a forest. His task was to locate a Phoenix. He moved off into the shadows.

Collision fidgeted restlessly. He had loads to ask the group, questions about who they were, why they were here, what they liked to eat... but he didn't want to interrupt Meta. He resorted to glancing out of the window. The songbird was back, hopping freely along the near deserted high street. Collision watched it for a while, longing to hop after it. But he couldn't! There were more important things at hand! He tried to listen to what was being said, in the hope that he might glean some information.

Upon seeing Shooting Star, Collision's smile grew even wider. He bounced happily, excited by the presence of another kid. "Hey!" he excliamed before anyone could stop him, "We're on an adventure too... find some.. things?" He hadn't been paying attention, and struggled to remember what had been said. The blue colt looked to the others for help, still bouncing.

searching Equestrian Civil War (OOC)
Damien Cremin replied to Pinkazoid's topic in Everfree Planning, OOC & Discussion
I guess that he would be controlled by whoever orders him around, he doesn't rely on magic to work, he only needs orders. That's why he can change who he follows randomly, taking orders from even the most unlikely of characters. At first, when he is first awakened, it might help to have a Lunar Republic member guide him and accompany him... though I don't see anyone wanting to do that. Most likely, they'll turn him on and tell him to fight. Any ideas? -

I guess he's just a mercinary.... though I could change it if you think that it would work better as an actual pony. -

Hey, please can I enter this character. He may be a little... different, but he isn't overpowered compared to the average soldier. Please let me know if it's okay! Name: The Poacher Age: Unknown Species: Archaic Automaton Gender: Male Appearance: Cutie Mark (if any): Personality: Blank, expressionless yet respectful and honourable. It fights without magic, or technology and refuses to give up unless ordered to do so. Due to a glitch in his creation, The Poacher will occasionally forget its previous owner, resorting instead to taking commands from an alternative source (i.e. whoever happens to be nearby). Biography: An age old experiment into the arcane that was discovered and activated by Lunar Republic scientists. It follows orders from those of high rank without question. Lunar Republic or Solar Kingdom? Lunar Branch within Faction: Umm... infantry? Ranking: Weapon -
Loro paddled through the water, trying as hard as he could to keep his head above the surface. The water's chilling effect on his wounds had won off, and now the full threshold of pain was starting to arrive. He'd had no time to check his wounds, and had no idea of their severity. The dragon tried to remain silent, but soon found himself wimpering with the arrival of pain. To make matters worse, he'd seen no other exits despite turning corners, and paddling along the winding corridors of the tunnel system. He was starting to get scared now; there was no visible exit. By now his new friends had probably abandoned him, and this made the dragon feel even worse. "At least I won't hold them back any more..." Loro whispered sadly, sill paddling. There was a noise behind him, and Loro froze. A sliding noise muffled by ice cold water. "Aura?" he queried nervously. "Rift? Is that you?" the sliding stopped, and there was silence for a moment. Loro turned, and continued to paddle forward, glancing behind him every so often. He had to find an exit, and fast...

Upon being forgiven by Thunder, Collision brightened instantly. He hopped over to the group, and stood amongst them waiting for Star Rain's question to be answered. His excitement at the chance of an adventure overwhelmed him, and the blue colt fidgeted restlessly, fixated on what was being said while taking in dangerously little information. He was far to excited to concentrate!

Collision followed the newcomer out into the street, then froze as he recognised the zebra he had offended earlier. The blue colt froze, but this time didn't dart off; the group didn't seem hostile. They had said something about a mystery... This could be his first case! A big adventure! Collision tilted his head away so they didn't notice him, and listened in carefully.

ooc Life in Ponyville -Slice of life-OOC
Damien Cremin replied to Pr3datorTaco's topic in Everfree Planning, OOC & Discussion
Thanks, but I should probably go... Still, thanks for offering XD Umm.... I was gonna react only... well... Look, maybe slice of life isn't for me XD To be honest, I'd just get in the way of everyone by posting. I appreciate your efforts Iron. Maybe if I'd chosen to use a better character... anyway, so yeah I'm just no good at RPing, or at least slice of life. Probably won't bother with an exit... unless it would make things less confusing for everyone else. -
Collision collided with another pony. He had been watching the songbird, and neglecting his path leading to the resultant bump. The blue colt lifted his head quickly. "Sorry! I was watching a..." Collision trailed off; the bird had flown away. He looked closer at the stranger. She seemed to be hiding from something. "What's your name!" he asked excitedly.

ooc Life in Ponyville -Slice of life-OOC
Damien Cremin replied to Pr3datorTaco's topic in Everfree Planning, OOC & Discussion
Mahh... I might quit this one for now guys. My character isn't really doing much, and I feel like I'm getting in the way. Thanks for letting me be in it though, and I might keep going when something happens... should I write an exit? I might do... -
Collision pretended that he hadn't heard Thunder speak, and he quickly edged away, embarrassed at his outburst. "Sorry!" he squeaked, before turning tail and running off. He stopped in another part of the town and looked down dejectedly at his hooves. This somber mood didn't last long however; a small songbird was hopping along a short deserted road, and Collision followed it with keen childish curiosity.

ooc The Keeper [Sign-ups Closed]
Damien Cremin replied to BlueFlame's topic in Everfree Planning, OOC & Discussion
Don't worry about Loro, he's fine! After all, I think there's someone down there with him..... O-O Or should I say someTHING...? Whatever the case, he'll probably turn up out of one of Crystal Cities' many badly placed storm drains. You should probably run from the oncoming baddies... But it's nice to know you care : D -
Collision ambled along at a slow yet steady pace, tired from days of travel. There was a town ahead! The young colt smiled widely upon seeing it, and ran the rest of the way, regardless of his heavy bags. The town that he reached was dry and dusty, almost a ghost town aside from the few tired ponies dotted around. Collision hesitated for a second, but continued into the town regardless. Even the state of disrepair that the town had fallen into had no effect on his mood; Collision remained bright and happy. Adventurers had to bump into the odd ghost town, after all. It was all part of the learning process! The locals seemed oblivious of each other, all except a small group of conversing ponies, and... "A zebra!" Collision cried out excitedly, before quickly stopping himself. He'd never really seen many Zebra before. The kid began to look avidly for a shop, hoping that his outburst wouldn't cause any trouble.

Happiest day of my life : D Now I'm off to skip happily around a meadow... Oh yeah, and sure, you can totally use his friend as a plot point! Anyway... that meadow... -
But Loro was nowhere to be seen; he had fallen into the storm drain during battle, where he now lay bruised and beaten. The debris of the fight had blocked the hole that he had fallen down, plunging the tunnel into total darkness. A luminous green eye opened, and took in the surroundings. Loro slid off into the water, and paddled over to the blocked passage, attempting to push his way out. It was no use; the hole was completely blocked. He would have to find an alternative way out, and quickly, before he was left behind! The little dragon frantically paddled along the tunnel, searching for an exit. As strange as it might sound, Loro actually felt sort of at home down here. More at home at least, than the crazy, open world just above his head. The quiet and darkness helped to relieve some stress, and his wounds were quickly numbed by the ice cold water. Unfortunately, Loro wasn't the only thing hiding in the storm drains.

open Life in Ponyville -Slice of life-

Rust opened one eye. It was raining. "Typical." he muttered, getting to his feet. He was sitting under a tree in the middle of... A town. He was still in that hick town! Rust was pretty sure that he'd left last night. He started walking, irritated at each raindrop striking him from above.
