    It always annoys me whenever I watch an anime that has a medieval setting, or fantasy, post-apocalyptic or a WWII style setting and there's multiple episodes dedicated to seeing the main girls in modern day bikinis. Look I'm all for fanservice but if there's one way take you out of a story it's that

    The very least you could do is keep it to promo content or non-canon OVAs

      yeah, there's FAR TOO MUCH fan-service in anime these days and that's what's put me off. that's why I'd rather take suggestions from people who've watched anime and tell me if it's good or not than try to search it up myself and put myself in the firing line, and exposing myself to that. :bea: I know there is some really good anime out there that doesnt soley focus just on fan-service, but I feel as if that is really hard to come by these days...
