I always look at excution, which I feel is something most people always ignored. Why I loved MtBPW was because everything was handled well, and most of the rational people I've seen look at it that way usually liked it. Unfortunately, anytime she does something fans don't like they act like she killed their parents ._.

I know what you mean about liking it when she's full of herself. There's a crap-ton of cocky, self-absorbed characters (Han Solo, etc.) whom people just adore. Why is it when a blue pegasus behaves the same way, she's suddenly the most vile human, er, pony being ever to exist? It's ridiculous.

Exactly my point. Rainbow Dash being the egotistical show off is what makes me like her so much. I love characters like that. I know not everyone can like every character, but Dash rarely gets a break. Oh well... I have a lot of fun defending her by saying that I'm glad she acted like a jerk, that's for sure.
