    The fact that Hasbro, Discovery and the writers have hyped S9 so fucking Hard as some sort of huge, emotional send off is insane in hindsight because it honestly feels like S9 desperately wants you to hate its guts

      It's weird, S5 and S7 are my favorite seasons, but I could have totally stomached S4 being the finale. Hell if you want me to get really cynical, I'd gladly give up S7 if it meant no S6 or 9

      After thinking about it, Season 6 isn't nearly as bad as I thought it was:

       

      • "Gauntlet of Fire" (The first Rarity/Twilight Sparkle team-up) 
      • Gift of the Maud Pie (Where I got my "Best Forum Friend For Five-ever" phrase from.) :D
      • A Hearth's Warming Tail (A Christmas Carol + MLP = Win! 
      • "No Second Prances" (The birth of StarTrix.)
      • Saddle Row and Rec. (One of my favorite Nick Confalone episodes.)
      • Viva Las Pegasus (I like this one a lot. I'm not sure why.)
      • Pony Point of View ("Applejack Sparrow". :mlp_smug:)
      • Top Bolt (Testing Testing 1,2,3: part two, IMO.)

      There was still plenty of episodes of season 6 that upset me so much that I'd rather it not exist honestly(you know the ones....)

      Also I didn't really like No Second Prances, PPOV and Gift of the Maud Pie

      I liked the rest of them though
