FUCK I FORGOT X-MEN 97

1993 for me, I'm realizing I haven't seen a ton of 1993 movies, or at least as much as I remember, some I should get around to watching at some point like Schindler's List, Nightmare Before Christmas and Batman: Mask of the Phantasm 2 movies I do remember loving a lot though were Sandlot and Hocus Pocus, so for now those two are my picks

I do but all I have are some play throughs of Castlevania IV and Mega Man X. Otherwise I just use it to comment

Probably adding to this Metroid - Other M. A very ambitious title that got almost everything wrong unfortunately. Wanted to make Samus a more complex character, but just made her look weak. Made Adam Malkovich a very unlikeable character. Not being able to use certain abilities until you're told to is just a really dumb design choice. Final Fantasy - Having not played All The Bravest, I'll go with Mystic Quest. It's just not a very good game. Combat is too simple and characters, world, and story are just very unremarkable and uninteresting Star Fox - Zero. The motion controls really just bring the game down, you spend a lot of time fighting the controls more than the actual enemies in the game. But even if those were addressed, it's still just a not a good or interesting game. 10 year wait for a new game and the best you could do is a retelling of a reimagining of a game you just remade 5 years earlier(see how many "re-"s there are?) When the game is being compared to NSMB, that's probably not a good thing Resident Evil - Honestly there's plenty you could probably put here like Survivor and Umbrella Corp and they'd be appropriate, but from the ones I've played it's Operation Racoon City. They tried hard to go after the CoD crowd even more than RE6, and it just didn't land at all Yakuza - Dead Souls easily. Another zombie game for a franchise that really doesn't warrant it. It's a better effort that MG Survive admittedly, it still has a bit of Yakuza's trademark silliness from time to time(Daigo crossdressing, Majima being Majima), but the series has notoriously bad gun combat and building an entire game based around said gun combat wasn't the best idea. Unfortunately the game had a huge part in the series being put on ice in the west until Yakuza 0 came out

Killer Is Dead. I usually like Suda51 games, his games are almost always known for being very weird(though usually in a fun and endearing way), but that game was a bit too out there even by his standards

Ashleigh Ball, especially given she’s pretty elusive in the MLP Con scene

That was a decision beyond Bowser, given it was also hidden from Japanese and European directs. Sounds like a Furukawa blunder

Everyone always gushes over MMPR’s theme but I love Turbo’s theme. It’s right up there for me

For Superheroes have usually been Captain America, Spider-Man and the X-Men for villains, I know he’s usually less seen as a villain now but I’ve always loved Magneto

Recess holds up a lot better than I remember

I’m basic but it’s the original MMPR, but I’ve always had a soft spot for Lightspeed Rescue

While Snake Eater is my favorite Metal Gear game, I’d still put MGS2 as my favorite story, especially since it feels more relevant now than it did when it first released. I like the meta narrative and how it even factors into the gameplay. I love Raiden as a character and arguably has Snake at his best, and features very underrated characters like Olga and Solidus. It’s the right kind of Kojima-Stupid. And the final 3rd of the game falling apart and freaking out with all the 4th wall breaking is one of my all time favorite moments in any game

Most people seem fine with the $450 price point. It's the price of the games(which so far is just MK) people take issue with And given they delayed the tariffs another 90 days, they're trying to get as much stock as possible into the US as possible. There's still a 10% tariff, depending on how much they're already making from the $450, there's a likely chance that initial price is sticking(here's hoping) I feel like people are still bracing for a price increase because of the tariffs in the future, that's just something that's unfortunately unavoidable
