Season 9 Episode 4 (MS45 version): Batting An Eye (200th Episode Special)
Synopsis: When Spike gets a new crush on a laid back teenage batpony named Night Tooth who loves comic books and was raised by ponies, Rarity believes she’s been replaced and goes to extreme lengths to try to win back her ‘special little helper’.

Well like it said, she's laid back and loves comics, but she's also self-conscious about her appearance. She's very playful and flirtatious towards Spike, which makes the Mane Six 'awww', but Rarity go 'bleh '. When Rarity sends the rest of the batponies to claim Night Tooth, it breaks both Night Tooth and Spike. Rarity had no idea it would give Spike pain to see her go, she thought it would make him come back to her. But she was wrong.
In the end, Rarity fixes things, Spike is happy again, and Rarity explains everything and apologies. Spike does claim he does still have feelings for Rarity, but knows that she isn't interested, but Rarity does admit there COULD be a future with her and Spike when he gets older, but for now, Spike is happy with Night Tooth, and vice-versa!
PERFECT conclusion to the Sparity arc, but there is still hope so the Sparity fans wouldn't feel broken! This is an 'everybody wins' scenario!
