This is something I should've posted months ago, but here's some praise for The Owl House... (spoiler alert!)
SpoilerI admire Luz for being up front with Amity about what happened to her father in the episode "Reaching Out."
Disney has come a long way because nearly 20 years earlier during Brother Bear, a similar scene happened but with the dialogue being completely drowned out by an '80s washout singing some sad song.
Also, I'm really glad The Owl House didn't make Belos Luz's father. I probably would've rage-quitted the show if that happened. Is anyone else of that trope as much as I am?
