  1. It only works if you believe it will. It works BECAUSE you believe it will. The placebo is the effect. That being said, perhaps you are trying the wrong kind of induction. Some inductions just don't work for some people. Ho boy, I can tell you it aint trolling. It will work if you let it, what did you do the first time?
  2. She smiled warmly "I slept wonderfully. And turnovers sound great as long as you make some for the rest as well, they wouldn't want to miss out"She gave him a brief kiss and slid out of the sleeping bag, flexing her wings. "I'm going to go for a brief flight, its a morning ritual of mine" With that she nudged her way out of the tent and quickly took off.
  3. Aurea slowly returned to consciousness as if through a fog, realizing she was clutching something warm. "Oh yeah, apple doom" she thought and smiled to herself. She nuzzled him gently "Morning, let me know if you wish to be unentangled". She didn't know if she had ever been this comfortable with another pony, yeah she had had special someponies, but this felt, different.
  4. I used to be terrified of it (nearly phobia level) Then I started joining in on the whole pony hypnotism thing, its quite fun and relaxing and so far I have neither heard any tales of danger (apart from some guy on a tulpa website, talk about hypocracy) nor experienced any myself, it has however allowed me to harness parts of my personality not usually as used. Do it youself! The pony hypno thread is floating around somewhere (will link if you ask me to) and I can also link you several good inductions (putting one in a trance) which don't put any particularly significant programming in.
  5. Aurea packed her violin away, slipped into the tent and then wriggled down into the sleeping bag next to him "I hope you don't mind, but cuddling is fun" she whispered as she enveloped him in wing and hoof both. Slowly she began to drift into the grasp of sleep.
  6. "I would say I've done better, just to make you jealous, but that would be bullshit" Aurea quickly noticed her wings and forced them back into a relaxed state, before wrapping one around Apple Doom again. "I don't see any reason why not, but don't get any wild ideas, I've only known you for a day or so and know where you would hurt" her voice was partially joking and partially serious.
  7. Aurea was momentarily taken aback, but quickly regained her posture, rolling her eyes "Oh comon, you don't need to be that dainty with me" and pressed her lips firmly to his for a few seconds, before breaking off and releasing him from her hooves, her wings were already pointing upwards.
  8. She laughed "What are we going to do with you" and held out a hoof to help him back up, then sidled up very close, placing a wing fully around him. "Care to try again?" she asked, pulling him closer with the wing and beginning to wrap a hoof and a second round him, only partly to stop him falling down again.
  9. "Oh really, and what sort of wonders would they be?" she smiled, holding her head as it was. Her wings shifted and the violin play was briefly a little more erratic than usual before returning to the slightly accelerated pace. OOC: @, I'm just kind of wondering where one would find a bear in the middle of a desert.
  10. She raised an eyebrow as he returned, but returned to her previous activity. "I think not, magic is for unicorns. I work wonders" she smiled and continued to play, the melody getting slightly quicker and more exited, anticipatory, as if waiting for something.
  11. She slowly rubbed the sore area with a hoof, applying a medium amount of pressure, attempting not to hurt him too badly. "See. you just need a bit of TLC to get you through the rough patches". She picked up her violin with the other hoof and began to play a slow, calming tune.
  12. Spike at your service, just really didn't do it for me Something about spike acting so goddamn irresponsible for most of the episode was annoying, wish they could have challenged him without resorting to that
  13. Because they see their son watching a girly show, and so he MUST be gay. and since this couple of thousand year old book written by who the hell knows called the bible says being gay is wrong, they must disown him.
  14. Eh. If your parents are uberconservative then coming out as a brony could be equivalent to coming out of the closer, and some families disown their kids for that (Though this probably isn't the case here)
  15. YAY FOR MOAR CONVERSION! Depending on how conservative your parents are, I would suggest thinking about telling them now. Mine took it amusingly and still don't quite get it, but they know I'm a weird bastard so I don't think they were suprised.
  16. (OOC: Uuuh guys can we slow down a little bit, DashiesInsane and I are already behind you all by a little bit even without a forced time jump. I'm a fan of having a chance to wrap things up at least a little before moving on quite so quickly, even if I cut it a little short if people want to move on)
  17. Sandstorm descended lightly next to Thunder Dash "Are we remaining hidden? If so I will cover my head, I know more than a few people in this city who would recognize me in an instant. They would mean well, but the rumors would spread like the desert wind". He glanced up and down the street cautiously.
  18. She frowned and tensed her wing, drawing them closer. "Whoever said that, I don't wanna meet em, I might have some strong words to say against that bullshit. Everypony needs a break sometimes, everypony needs some time to be weak" She moved closer and started running her hooves down his back, pressing lightly "Tell me when I hit sore spots" she mentioned.
  19. She gave him a look of mock disapproval "Well my imaginary friend Humphrey was going to sit there, but I suppose he can move". She noticed him wincing as he sat and draped a wing over her back "You hurt? You should have said something about the cart sooner."
  20. She smiled and flicked him playfully with a wing "Why, what else would you think I would want?" she said with a hint of amused sarcasm. "I'll be back in a few minutes" she mentioned, before taking off and soaring into the night sky. Apple Doom's motives confused her. by this point in time she didn't know if he was trying to be friendly or trying to lead into something more, and she didn't know whether she considered this a good thing or not. She decided to just go with her instincts, like always, they had yet to fail her. Angling herself back to camp she landed and just as Apple Doom finished fixing the wheel she was sitting by the fire with her violin and bow in her lap.
  21. Aurea started undoing the straps on his cart, then gently shoved him out the way and began the long process of strapping herself in. She gave him a concerned look "You look uncomfortable", her eyes bellying concern as she gently touched a wing tip to his cutie mark, before suddenly realising what she was doing and repositioning it to his back.
  22. "No worries, I forget to turn the sarc down outside of the city sometimes" Aurea was wondering what Noon had meant by her "you shouldn't be" and following gesture, surely she didn't mean. Nah It isn't like that, is it? This gave Aurea a little bit of a problem to ponder and she frowned as she ran it through her head.
  23. Aurea laughed, her eyes smiling as she put a friendly wing around Noon "You must not know I'm from las pagasus, where friendly cynicism is a skill taught from age three up. Lighten up a bit, we are free out here". Removing the wing she took the outstretched hoof and shook it warmly "Aurea". She then leaned in close and whispered "let it be known I'm secretly a bit jealous, this stays between us though" as she ended with a grin.
  24. She adopted a look of mock worry and jokingly curled her wings around herself "Please don't! I don't know what lengths I might go to if that offer was serious". She returned to her more relaxed stance "Want a break?" She asked, pointing to the cart with a hoof.
  25. Chuckling as she didn't quite believe him she flicked it up and crunched it in one bite, ladies manners were for the city. For a moment her pupils dilated and glassed over as the taste reached her tastebuds before she snapped out of it with a joking smile "That was a damn good apple, but not quite that good" she dug out another and held it out to him. She had been keeping an eye on winter and noon in the meanwhile, and rolled her eyes as their "Already shuckling up" she mentioned to apple doom with a wink. She resumed her normal stance, wings covering most of her cutie as the other two approrached.
