  1. Raze's eyes snapped open as he quickly tried to discern where he was. He was sitting on a park bench right outside the arcade.

Huh... must've dozed off... he thought, slowly getting up. His longsword was leaning next to him on the bench, which he took and equipped on his back.

I must've been really tired, I can't really remember what happened to me... As he tried to recall past events, he could hear something in the distance. Signs of... a struggle.

Finally, some action! He dashed off in the direction of the sound.

  2. hey, once again, sorry for not keeping up on this. I know I said I'd make a post last time, but life is swamping me with personal things right now.

That being said, I won't be able to make a post for a while. How long that is, I'm still not sure. I work for the Navy and my ship leaves tomorrow. I don't know when I'll be back. Just continue the RP without me, I suppose. Again, I'm very sorry for the inconvenience.

  3. After contemplating for a while, Raze yawned. "...I'm bored..." he said. He got up from his chair and looked around the house some more. Going through the back, he found some stairs leading up to a second floor where he found a small bedroom for himself, with a connecting bathroom. He then traveled back down and looked around the reception area some more. Nothing else to look at.

"Guess I'll take a walk again..." he said as he went outside and back into the town.

"That guy's right. This town's too peaceful..." he muttered to himself. "Still... something's bound to happen eventually... I hope."

Raze listened as to what to expect in his new home, then nodded.

"...Right then. I guess I'll just make myself at home then. Be seeing you." He nodded at Samurai, then opened the door inside.

It was a relatively wide reception area, with a desk and a chair facing him to his north. To the right of that, there was a door that seemed to lead to his actual living area. He nodded.

"This'll do," he said as he set his things next to the desk and took a seat on the chair, leaning back and propping his lower hooves up on the desk, beginning to think of his next plan of attack.

Raze's eyes widened at the sight of the building.

"Sweet Celestia above..." he remarked, taking two steps forward. "I said half a payment... not a full one times three..." He looked at Samurai.

"I'm not sure what I can do to repay you for this... besides getting the job done... but you have my word I'll take that spirit down... even more so now that I have a place to stay and plan out things. You have my thanks." He smiled at him, then looked back at the house.

"But seriously... how'd you do this in such a short amount of time? Usually these type of things take ages to build, let alone design..."

Raze quickly looked away at Delight, blushing slightly.

"A-ah, uhhh... yep! Definitely. They were really good and... stuff," he stammered, his eyes darting back and forth from her to a spot on the ground. He shook his head, then rubbed his temple with his left hoof.

"Anyway... I think the time has come for me to leave. Don't wanna overstay my welcome and all that... I know I've said the before, but I really appreciate you letting me stay here for the night. I don't think I've slept that good in a while." He smiled at her.

Raze stood still for a few more seconds before taking a deep breath.

"Whatever..." he said, continuing to walk to his room. "I'm just gonna forget that ever happened... 'open' my ass, I swear..." he grumbled something about purposeful misunderstandings and unlocked doors as he opened the door to his room. Closing it behind him, he proceeded to gear up, strapping his longsword on his back and attaching his Evoker holster onto his right side, putting the Evoker in immediately afterwards. Finally, he put his saddlebags on and he was ready to go.

He then made his way to the living room and sat on the couch.

Should thank her before I leave... he thought.

As Raze made his way into the kitchen, he spotted a glass of milk and a plate of cookies. "Don't mind if I do..." he said as he munched on the cookies, and followed it up with a glass of milk.

"Pretty good," he said. "Welp, better get ready for the day..." He went back upstairs and was about to enter his room when a sign on a door caught his attention.

"Open, eh?" He read it aloud. Shrugging, he casually opened the door...

Inhaling sharply at what he saw next, he quickly, but quietly, closed it immediately afterwards, hoping she didn't see him. He leaned against the door.

"Twilight damn it all...!" He cursed underneath his breath. "Was not expecting that..."

  9. @Windy Breeze

Raze slowly opened his eyes when he felt the sunlight on his face. He yawned, stretching his hooves. Slowly, he got out of bed, then walked over to a mirror right across from him. Checking his face and concluding he looked presentable enough, he proceeded to exit his room and walk around the house.

"...Where is she?" he quietly asked himself, looking around.

  10. @Windy Breeze

"I travel," Raze said while taking another bite. "Try to learn new things during my trips. I also play games. Every now and then I'll polish my guitar skills, maybe hone my sword skills..."

He scoffed at Delight's second idea.

"Save the world... listen, honey; before you get the wrong idea about me, I don't go around saving the world. I go where the money takes me... for better or for worse."

  11. @Windy Breeze.

At the sight of Delight's reaction, Raze started to feel a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach. He didn't like making anyone feel bad like that, especially when she was going out of her way to basically let him stay for free...

He sighed. "Alright, I'll eat the food you made for me," he said with a smile. "That would get me up to three square meals today anyway, so..."
