I think it was more how they were forced to portray the character. I mean, it was obvious that the characters had no depth, and the stories had no conflict. That was what really brought G3.5 down... G3 I was a fan of, but I've got to admit, with all the characters basically being recolors of eachother, it was a little annoying...
