I have no idea who this user is, and I don't run it.

The red equal sign is a symbol to promote same-sex marriage while the U.S. Supreme Court is reviewing its legalities of Proposition 8 and the Defense of Marriage Act. Many people like myself are using that sign, but some stylize it a bit more to fit a specific form of pop culture.

Because of the fireflies and the long time it takes. You also can't composite quite as easily and it has other disadvantages. I use Blender for videos and Cycles for stills. :3

The fireflies can get removed with some changing at the light path setting. The second half of my attempt I had changed the settings.
