      I thought the Summer Sun Celebration was simply Equestria's equivalent to the summer solstice. According to the MLP wiki, however, it was indeed a celebration of Celestia's victory over Nightmare Moon up until Luna returned.

    Tonight, I came across an old online community I was a part of for some time -- including serving as its administrator and proprietor. I found out it's been closed since last year, and several of the people I knew had expressed bitterness regarding various events in that community's history. I hope that, should the day come when MLPF closes its digital doors, the memories will be positive and the friendships enduring. Whatever I might have done to make those things possible would simply be icing on the cake.
