Okay before I slip off for the night I just want to thank everyone for what some of you said in my blog. I really didn't expect to sign on tonight but part of me wanted to share that moment with my team winning here with you ... particularly because of the poetic feeling of it all. It's been a peaceful and really relaxing day so thank you all again. 

Apparently I have a party to throw for Feb 4. I know the Pats get a lot of heat from many, but not from me. No matter how it plays out, they are the standard bearer for winning in the NFL and much respect to them for that. I'm obviously not rooting for them (duh) but I'm glad to be playing against the best. My Eagles need to bring their A game to win. 

I have to say, the animation in the MLP movie is a little... off-putting. There's definitely a latent uncanny valley effect at work.

Been sick all last night and through the morning into today, but noticed that Godzilla anime was up on Netflix. That was quite the watch, though the animation style took some time to get used to. Twas enjoyable overall tho.

Just finished watching the miniseries of Big Little Lies. Fantastic. Amazing cast. Everything Reese Witherspoon produces is gold. (Mature and disturbing themes just FYI)

Even though it's a real word with another meaning, the usage of "Dotard" to insult Trump is extremely ableist. Why? Because when I see it, it looks more like a portmanteau of "Donald" and "Retard."

Just reading the disappointment from show staff like Big Jim, Nicole Dubuc, and Peter New regarding the leaks really hurts. Definitely puts a perspective on this whole thing.

Now that first reactions for The Last Jedi are out and reviews will be uploaded on Tuesday, I'm going dark until Thursday at around 10:00 PM to avoid any spoilers for the film.
