~Reinforcements have arrived~
After thorough investigation and staring at a bunch of statistics pages, we came to the conclusion that there were a couple gaps in prompt moderation activity in a few hours of the day. To remedy this, we then set out to find potential recruits that have active hours that would fill the gaps in the days. A great majority of our new team members are our night-shift (since most of our staff team lives in North America), to fill up that crucial gap in which little moderator activity is shown, thus, improving report response time and keeping things smooth. These fresh faces are also assurance measures as; if any one of our prominent staff members had to take a break for some reason, our forces would then be stretched dangerously thin and progress would be unacceptably slow. This is reinforced by the fact that our numbers have slowly dwindled over the past little while, and we have had fewer active Sectionals than Globals or Admins.
After much discussion, elimination, and consideration, we concluded to recruit:
Aaramus – Sectional Moderator of Beyond Equestria (Night shift)
Artemis – Sectional Moderator of Beyond Equestria
Akita-Ken – Sectional Moderator of Octavia’s Hall (Night shift)
Full Spectrum – Sectional Moderator of MLP: FiM (Night shift)
DashForever – Sectional Moderator of MLP: FiM
Aaramus and Artemis have risen up to the challenge of moderating the dreaded Everfree Forest and Cloudsdale Colosseum, since the only dedicated moderator already assigned to the very large and popular subforum is Chigens, there was much needed assistance for the metropolis of a section.
Akita-Ken is taking the responsibility of moderating Octavia’s Hall, which up until now had no dedicated moderators other than Vexx3, whom is a Global and has other priorities to attend to as well.
Finally, Full Spectrum and DashForever have been added to the strength of the MLP: FiM section team. Being a pony forum, the MLP: FiM section does indeed see a lot of traffic and is the primary focus of the entire site. Keeping it spotless is a priority, especially due to the high discussion value of the Season 3 finale and the upcoming Fourth Season.
Like with all of the new blood that joins our ranks, we greatly look forward to working with them as team members, friends and leaders of the community. We also hope that you will give them the time they need to become fully acquainted with the controls and trust them to do their job to keep this community the safe, welcoming and enjoyable site it is.
