    My dad and I saw Triumph des Willens for the first time last night - it was a pretty interesting experience for sure and I'm glad I'm able to check it off my list.

      I've seen only parts of it. The surprising thing (at least if you are unfamiliar with National Socialism in Germany) is how populist the rhetoric is. I can understand why a down-on-his-luck middle class German might find it appealing in a time of economic instability and social upheaval.

      It really was easy to see how inspiring it is. The film techniques were also marvelously modern. You can tell how many directors these days have learned from her pioneering of such camera work.

    90% of the game features fictional fantasy aircraft that were blueprints. They also decided to omit the RAF from the initial nations and now they're in (open?) Beta. Still no RAF. I don't think I've ever advised against a game, but I think you'll want to give this one a pass. If you like fantasy aircraft, try Crimson Skies.

    Ah, seems I forgot to post on this thread after all. I'm indeed confirmed to be attending the Con. Hotel and ticket expenses are taken care of and I will be staying at the 'Royal Sonesta' Harbour Court Hotel, which is indicated as "11" on this map. [source] Definitely an exciting event to attend especially considering it will be my first convention ever, and a big one at that! Hope to see a good turn-out of you folk around sometime.
