Hearing that Crystal didn't know, Quill was about to facehoof before she quickly remembered. He rolled his eyes and turned to face where she had pointed. At least now they were going the right way. Or so he hoped. Crystal might just change her mind and say that it was in the opposite direction.

Quill followed Crystal. Having never been to Paris before, he followed closely behind her, afraid that he might go in the wrong direction and end up in some weird place. "So what's this restaurant called?" he asked as they walked, trying to make some conversation with her.

"Okay." Fifteen thousand bits would certainly be enough. He hadn't brought all of them, instead just fifty, but prices were low in Equestria. One could buy a bushel of apples for four bits. Besides, that was all he could carry at once. "Where is it?" he asked, letting Crystal lead the way.

Quill chuckled. "Yes, I suppose so." He smiled at Crystal. He noticed the snake from earlier was now gone. He was glad about that, for he had been a little scared of it. Who wouldn't be, of a venomous snake? "You know any good restaurants around here?" he asked. She'd said she had been to Paris before, and although it had been only a while, she had to eat in the short time she'd been here.

Quill gave Crystal a stare, but decided to let it go. He trusted her. He didn't know why, but he did. He decided to just ignore it, as he had been doing the whole time now. He turned around. "Okay then... I guess." He started to walk away. "C'mon, let's go get lunch." He started to walk.

Quill waited patiently for her to pay. But he still had to ask. "Er, what happened to your mane and tail?" he asked nervously. He didn't want to invade her personal space. But it was really weird. He didn't even know manes could have holes in them, or mysteriously turn green. He was pretty sure the hotel didn't provide mane dye. Why would they?

Alicorn OC's..are they really that bad?

What makes me hate them is when people just make them normal ponies. Yes, you read right, I hate it when alicorns are normal ponies. Like, would ponies make fun of an alicorn? Nope. Then don't make your pony's backstory include others teasing them. Like, what? Most seem to worship or at least respect the alicorns (Whether because they're kind, or because they're afraid of getting killed). And regularly living in Ponyville. Everypony would act shocked upon encountering the alicorn, not just walk past like "Hey, look, an alicorn, a very rare species that only princesses are. I'll just ignore her and walk away." And what's even worse - ponies teasing the alicorn for even being an alicorn. What? Luckily, this is almost never used, only in one fanfiction I read. Also, I hate it when the creator doesn't even include a reason for the alicorn for being that way, or give reasons like "Her mother was a pegasus while her father was a unicorn." If alicorns worked that way, then I wouldn't really watch the show anymore. I like alicorns when they're unique, not just some regular ol' thing. Besides, we have plenty of pegasus-unicorn ships. Does that mean that they simply must have an alicorn child? No. Mr and Mrs Cake have pegasus and unicorns somewhere in their lineage, but they don't have an alicorn foal. In general, normal alicorn OCs - just no. That would take too much time to develop properly without writing a 10 thousand word fanfiction. @, no offence, even though you have an OC that fits 2 of these traits. Yes. This is so true. -
Quill noticed Crystal's green hair. Weird, he thought. Last time I checked, it was black and red. And her tail... He stared at it. It was the same green as her mane, instead of the light pink it used to be. He brushed it off, though he was a little confused. It was probably some girl thing. He never did understand fashion.

Quill decided to believe Crystal. He shrugged and kept walking. The building, he supposed, was pretty cool. It was tall and elegantly decorated, including the shops. He finally stopped in front of a store. At the top was 'Barber' in large blue lettering against a white background. Turning to Crystal, he said, "This is the barber."

They walked on, Quill looking at the shops they passed by while they walked. He noticed Crystal was distracted, nearly bumping into many ponies as they walked and hardly seeming to know where she was going. "Crystal, you okay?" he asked, concerned as he stopped to look at her.
