my fave quote from fluttershy would be from when discord tried to convince her that she was too nice. discord told her that her friends think she is weak and helpless and fluttershy said "I am weak and helpless and i appreciate their understanding." i think that line really showed how fluttershy is true to herself. i also found it incredibly funny -
i herd of songs like those having negative impacts on children, but thats mostly for young children. the effects decrease a lot as you grow up and decrease even more as long as you have a good understanding of morals. if you know its just a song then i think you can enjoy them without worrying about them having life changing effects.

Best episode ever: "A dog and pony show" i gained respect for rarity in that episode (episode 19). I like the part when rarity complains about being a prisoner... which is the whole episode pretty much. i also think it relates to slave trafficking pretty well (except that it ends with a happy ending.)

What do you love about MLP and its fandom?

Characters don’t need to be likeable but i find that i could at least respect their motives that cause the reactions and behaviors each character has... except for maybe derpy. I like it because instead of most cartoons that try and teach things like math and spanish it teaches something anypony at any age can learn from such as, values and morals while maintaining an entertaining social interaction. Although not all characters have loveable personality types each pony has a good set of morals. Most conflicts in the show is a result of good intentions colliding. There is rarely a person that is truly evil (discord is the biggest exception but its overlooked since his personality is likeable.) -

Salutations, So i just joined the forums. This is the first forum i ever joined so im not entirely sure what to expect. I figured a forum would be a fun way to engage in some intelligent conversations. Due to my recent craving of MLP i thought here would be a fine place to make my first appearance in a forum. A little about myself: im finishing up my last year of high school. Starting to prepare for the colledge life. I have many hobbies and interests such as drawing, programming, and music. Although i know that i lack in talent in some of these areas it doesn't stop me from having fun with them. On a social level, i really enjoy discussing topics and i can sometimes be a bit of an arguer but i always try to maintain a friendly tone. So anyway... how was that for an introduction?
