Well, in my headcanon, Tia was holding back when she fought dem bugs; I think her using full power would probably cause a nuclear-size blast, killing everypony in Canterlot and Ponyville. Fights between two airborne groups would probably be much like dogfighting between jets in the air today. I think Equestria is in the modern era in terms of technology. According to the CiV G+K tech tree (http://www.minosha.com/civ5/techtree.html), Equestria has many modern technologies, but almost no Atomic era techs.They have railroad, as seen by the train to Canterlot; flight as seen by Twilight's hot air balloon; replaceable parts as seen by Rarity's sewing machine; plastics as seen by the many plastic containers throughout the series; electronics as seen by Twilight's basement gadgets/Rainbow Dash's movie in Hurricane Fluttershy; and combustion as seen when Dash names her turtle 'tank'. However, they don't have penicillin, atomic theory, radar, or combined arms - so they're in late modern era. This means that they have artillery, infantry w/ pretty advanced rifles, machine guns, battleships/destroyers, bombing squads, and primitive tanks. I think unicorns on the other side would find ways to counter that spell with their own magic. Also, I'm sure there are certain spells off-limits in battle to even unicorns. For example, it is said in Hearth's Warming Eve that hundreds of unicorns can raise the sun, so what prevents them from doing the comparatively easy task of harnessing a nuke's worth of atomic energy and unleashing it upon their foes? Surely such spells must be illegal even in battle.

Well, obviously they play TF2 all day and let Lauren Faust's team do all the hard work, right? OT: yeah, basically what everyone else said. EDIT: I was ninja'd by, like, 2 seconds.

I would stay 5ever, but not sure which world I would enter. TF2, Minecraft, or Equestria? If I entered the world of TF2 I would dominate everyone with my skillz 24/7 but after a while fighting would get boring. If I stayed in MC SSP then I would build/fight to my heart's desire but be forever alone. If I'm on Minecraft SMP, I'll be able to socialize and collab, but I'm afraid of getting griefed...and I'm not too fond of the MC community. However, whether or not I enter Equestria depends on just what the world is like. Is it really as perfect as portrayed? What if Celestia was a tyrant influencing all the ponies with her mind magic (so they could be happy)? In the other end of the spectrum, if Equestria was similar to today's Earth then there would be no point in going there (except magic, flight, cutie marks, etc. but I'm sure the novelty will wear off after a while). Hmm. Maybe I'm overthinking this. I definitely would want to escape into another reality, but which one??

Because of your avatar, I subconsciously read this in Applejack's voice. Now I can't get it out of my head... OT: Yeah...in fact, I wouldn't be a brony according to my standards since I've watched only 20 episodes or so.

So I was just thinking...what are the things you have to do to officially become a brony? I came up with a couple. 1. Watch at least 25% of all episodes in a season. IMO, to become a true brony one must be acquainted with the show and its characters first. 2. Create a work about ponies. This can range from a drawing, to a fanfic, or even a game mod. Creativity is the best way to get acquainted with and express your true feelings about something. 3. Read cupcakes (yes, that fanfic). I know this is going to be controversial, but I believe that by reading this fic one is acknowledging the fandom has a darker side - and therefore become more familiar with the brony community (or at least part of it). What do you think are some other brony initiation rites? Do you agree or disagree with mine? Thoughts?

Lol, it doesn't even exist anymore. But yeah...my least favorite fanfic was this trollfic on fanfiction.net. It was about Twilight saving Equestria, but contained the grammer, spelling, maturity, continuity of a 2-year-old. I don't remember the name, though.

Well, that escalated quickly... 100char, what else can I say? I had kinda expected this type of thing from the start, given the awkward nature of your arguments. But it's OK; if you're not a troll, then by all means continue your...whatever you have. OT: I know that Twilight becoming an alicorn while all her friends don't is kind of unfair. But look at that this way: her talent is magic, and she showed the full extent of her power with the Starswirl spell. That type of power proves she is ready to become an alicorn - her power reached a level where her body as a unicorn could not contain it any longer.
