  1. @@Pat.Rio.T., @@FractalMoon, @@Derplight Sperkle, "Right then, let's go," Emile said, running out of the hole in the wall and opening a rift to the top of a building for himself and the Star Spangled Man. The man in a full suit of plate armor made his way into a heavily populated park and called out "Kneel before King Arthur!" The people soon began to laugh. This enraged the man, who then pulled out another sword and created a whirlwind gust from the tip of his sword, blowing people and trees hundreds of feet away. "It's best to listen to your king..."
  2. @@Pat.Rio.T., "Then I'll be there to stop the guy who's going to use it. Odds are he's not too tough. He hired meta mercs to do his job. If he were powerful, he'd likely be able to do this himself. It's best not to risk things right now. We will both likely die if we face these two head on, even if we just fought False Shade," Emile said.
  3. @@Pat.Rio.T., @@FractalMoon, "Look, there's a guy down there that can regenerate all damage we do to him, and can draw weapons from seemingly nowhere. I suggest we leave, they are here to get something, not to hurt anyone, if we fight them, then there is a significant chance people will get hurt," Emile said. A man in a full suit of armor was walking down the middle of Main Street, dragging a sword behind him. This sword was cutting massive fissures in the ground, seemingly splitting the world in half. He then lifted the sword, and swung down in an arc at a skyscraper, and a massive ramp of earth extended towards the building, splitting it in two. "All will kneel before King Arthur..." the man said.
  4. @@Pat.Rio.T., "Well, yes and no. I had a "chat" with one of the scientists who is responsible for me losing my job, girlfriend, her son, and my old life. I used the distraction those two caused to get in, we met up, and we agreed not to stop each other. That guy that was shooting you was False Shade, a meta merc with enhanced physical abilities, mainly regeneration. I'm a supe, like you. You're the Star Spangled Man, right?" Emile said.
  5. @@Pat.Rio.T., @@FractalMoon, @@Derplight Sperkle, Emile immediately recognized the name False Shade and knew he was not someone to mess with. When Shade ran down the hallway and started shooting at someone, Emile followed and recognized the Star Spangled Man. He created a rift underneath the Star Spangled Man and one in the lobby. Emile then created a rift for himself and grabbed the Star Spangled Man's arm. "We have to move," he said with urgency in his voice.
  6. @@Yoshikupo, "Perhaps that could work, although don't expect anything to pierce its hide, only specialized spells and weapons can pierce the hide of demons. I propose that the Black Knight and I go for the hearts of this beast, as we are the most well armored. After all, this armor was made for fighting demons, demons blood shouldn't damage it," Agravain said. (OOC: Sorry, been busy lately.)
  7. @@Yoshikupo, "Demons are only weak to light and holy magic as far as I know. I doubt you'd be able to tie it down, the stories I heard suggested it's wings were so strong they could cut through mountains," he said in a monotone voice, sounding almost uncaring that Blitz was gone.
  8. @@Reaver, "Sure," Guy-Man said, oblivious to the fact that his face was still covered in soup, "I'll go with you. Which one is Blitz again? The only pony I really thought about while I was lost was you. It kept me going. I had to let you know how I felt, and I had to give you your gift."
  9. @@Derplight Sperkle, @@FractalMoon, "Thanks," Emile said to the girl he had met before, and then walked down the hall. Amidst the chaos of scientists running for their lives, he recognized some of them. He had gone to school with a few of them, and some of them worked at the company he used to work at before the incident. He found the one he had been looking for though. The lead scientist on the project that he destroyed, Dr. Goldblum. He grabbed him by the throat and threw him through a glass window, loud enough for Shade to hear with his enhanced hearing. "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?" he yelled, jumping through the window and landing on the man's rib cage, breaking 3 of his ribs. "NO! AGGGGH! WHO ARE YOU? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?" Emile removed his mask, and the scientist gasped. Emile lifted the man into a chokehold. "Where are they," he said. "Where are who?" "My girlfriend and her son. You knew the most about the project, and even lead the hunt for me. Where are they?" Dr. Goldblum began to laugh. "They've been dead for years. We won." All of a sudden, everything seemed to stop. Emile lost his mind. He opened a rift and stuck Goldblum's head through it, and opened another on the wall in the hallway. He then closed the rift, decapitating him. He proceeded to shoot anything that looked like it could explode, and started slowly walking out of the building, holding the man's head in his hand. He got lost and found his way to where Silver and Shade were. He looked at Silver again. "Thank you, I got what I needed," he said, holding up the man's head to the window of the room she was in. He then saw what they were looking at. "You guys want help?"
  10. Emile saw the two enter the elevator, and after the door closed, he entered the other one and headed to sub floor 6. He'd had his eyes on the place for a while, he heard that there were some scientists with "questionable" ethics experimenting in this lab. When he reached his floor he saw the two metas he had been stalking earlier that day. He put his hands behind his head and said "Hey guys. Don't mind me, I assume we're all here for something, I'll be sure not to get in your way. Do either of you know where wing 7 is? I've a few scientists I need to "talk" to."
  11. Agravain looked at Banner "Never forget, two hearts. That's how I got this," he said, removing his chestplate and revealing the black scar once again. "It's a dark mark. This scar can never be healed, and it's slowly spreading. It started as a scratch, no bigger than an ant. This will kill me one day. That's what I got for being unprepared." (OOC: Good night guys!)
  12. Agravain pinched his helmet where the bridge of his nose would be and shook his head side to side with a sigh. "You've obviously never fought a demon before. Demons can only be killed if their hearts are destroyed. It's an easy mistake for a rookie in the slaying business," he said in a condescending tone, as he cannot control his tone. (OOC: Someone pick up on that hearts is plural, someone ask him about it, it will reveal some stuff.)
  13. "The new weapons you have should harm the demon. I know mine does," Agravain said to Banner, taking the sword off of his back and twirling it around a bit. He then looked at Blitz, "It's still demonic, it has all the strengths of both a dragon and a demon, and they tend to counteract each other's weaknesses. Remember, demon's blood is corrosive, and since it's a fire dragon, fire won't do much to it. Here's a drawing that the locals gave me."
  14. @@FractalMoon,@@Derplight Sperkle, Emile was at home, minding his own business, when he heard a massive explosion. He quickly checked his cameras and saw that they were all broken near where Mercury Labs was. He suited up and grabbed some new contacts he had been working on, labeled "Detective Vision." He quickly put them in and activated them. They seemed to work, but not completely. While he could see heat signatures through the walls, he couldn't detect their heart beats or make out any things of note, such as trace chemicals, blood, or weapons. He proceeded to Mercury Labs and saw a large hole in the side of the building, and saw two people about to enter an elevator. He snuck in and hid behind the front desk, looking at them using his Detective Vision. 'Screwing over corporations is my thing,' he thought, 'Who are these clowns? They should know better than to blow a hole in the side of a building that's being used by a corporation as important to the government as Mercury.' (OOC: I am busy with travel and such, so I won't be able to respond super quickly to things, sorry in advance. Also, Emile doesn't recognize the two from before due to Detective Vision not picking up details that specific.)
  15. Agravain appeared behind the group without a sound, despite wearing the suit of full-metal armor. The metal was so light he didn't even leave footprints. He was always light on his feet, but he usually left footprints. Perhaps there was more to this armor than they originally thought. Agravain then spoke, shocking most of the group, but not the dryad with her "earth sight" and said to her "That's because it's a demon. It can travel freely between our world and its home world." (OOC: As the dragon was my idea, I was hoping to portray it, and please, before you add details to the dragon, consult me first.)
  16. @@Reaver, Guy-Man took the soup and starting eating voraciously, not even thanking Glider for the food. Within a matter of seconds, he looked up from the bowl with soup all over his face. The bowl was empty. He then looked to Glider and said "Thank you." (Just need a few more characters...)
  17. So apparently saying that it's unattractive to be able to see a woman's ribs is sexist...

  18. Agravain awoke, once again covered in the glowing runes, although this time it was due to an immense magic power flowing through him, and not some higher being possessing him. He put on the rest of his armor, and was completely unrecognizable. He almost looked like a king. He picked up his sword and put it on his back. He then realized that he didn't have his sheathe on, but it stuck anyways. He then proceeded outside and looked at the group, then focused on the dryad. "Greetings, guardian of the forest," he said with a bow. (OOC: If you don't remember what his armor looks like, it's somewhere in the OOC.)
  19. Guy-Manuel was walking around Baltimare, taking in the sights, smells, and especially the sounds as he did in every city he went to. He had been traveling the globe, getting the vibe from all the major and important cities, as he was making an album about different cultures. He also made sure every song was accompanied by a local artist. He heard that there was a large variety of music in Baltimare, so it seemed like it could be tough.
  20. @@Reaver, "You know, I used to be the best flyer in school, but I never got much better. I can fly decently, but I'm not outstanding. I tend to use my wings to play instruments. I have a double-neck bass and guitar, and I'm the only pony I know who can play both at once," Guy-Man said, flapping his wings and getting himself into the air.
  21. @@Reaver, (OOC: As you can tell, I'm not paying too much attention to the forums on my trip.) Guy-Man looked at Glider and said "Some real food sounds really good, I'm tired of eating roots and berries." He then heard her question and was unsure how to respond. "I don't really know how I got my name... Do you know how you got yours?"
  22. Yay! My teacher had her wallet stolen on the metro and I got an eye infection! Ces't magnifique!
