  1. @, @@Little Red, @@ForthEorl, "Hey, look at me," Guy-Man said to the dragon in a calm, reassuring voice, "I've always been more of a city pony, and I'm about to go out into that jungle. Do I look scared to you?" he said with a smile on his face. "I know what it's like to be separated from your friends, I have a feeling we all do. We're away from home, and it doesn't look like we're going back, but that doesn't mean we can't help you find your home. My name is Guy-Manuel, but you can call me Guy-Man if you want. What's your name?"
  2. Warning: Strong Language Within the last 2 minutes or so, I was laughing so hard I got a headache, and I had to pause because I couldn't breathe. I'm also kind of tired, so that might be part of it...
  3. @@Little Red, @@ForthEorl, @, "I fixed some oatmeal with wild blueberries earlier, but I lost my appetite, and I'm still not hungry... I'm not sure if dragons eat that sort of thing, but it seems to be exactly where I left it," Guy-Man said, trotting up to the log he left the bowl on and picking it up.
  4. @@Little Red, @@ForthEorl, "Ummm, I guess I could be up for it. Remember, just because I had military training doesn't mean I was good at it, I mean, my cutie mark is a record, not a sword. Sure, I can handle myself very well, I know what foods are safe and what aren't, and I was a decent leader, but I was never good with a weapon. I was always more the guy who inspired, not the guy who fought. When I was almost sent out, everyone thought I should be a radio host, give the guys something to remind them of home," Guy-Man said. "I kept on telling my father that I wasn't meant for it, and it took my mother a long time to convince my father not to send me away to join the military. I still remember he thought I put her up to it and that I was chickening out, he destroyed all my instruments... He never actually came to any of my concerts... He's never heard any of my music..." he said, starting to tear up. "I wish Thomas were here... I'm sorry, I got way off track, I suppose I'll go with, but don't expect too much of me." (OOC: Thomas Bangalter is the second member of Daft Pony [and Daft Punk, of course] and was Guy-Man's best friend.)
  5. @@Yoshikupo, Agravain walked over to Chain and told him about the visions. (Pretend I explained to you what was in the visions, I don't want to have to type all that XD). "Well, after my first vision, I was able to read the runes, and I somehow knew all of the spells needed to operate the tower. After the second one, I was able to find the scrolls and books," he said after explaining the content of the visions. "My parents always told me I was adopted, I thought they said it to spite me. Perhaps I was adopted, it would explain why I was able to use magic and they seemed afraid. I've never seen magic as strong as mine, but I get tired after I use a lot of magic, and I get sick if I use a lot as well. I don't know of that happening to any other wizards, but I don't know any other wizards who can use as much magic as I can. One of the books I picked up indicates that the wizards here were the first wizards ever, the first beings to use magic. Similar to me, if they used a lot of magic, they would get tired and sick, and if they used all their magic without giving it time to recharge, they would die. Something tells me I have a lot in common with these wizards. Maybe the man in the vision is an ancestor of mine. It does say in what I assume to be his journal that "the magic flowed through his family's veins," at least, that's the best way I could describe it. It seems that the magic that flowed through his family's blood allowed them to use much stronger magic, but if they used too much, they would die," Agravain seemed to get lost in a trance after this.
  6. @@ForthEorl, @@Little Red, "I'd be happy to work through the night. I've always been good at working late, I mean, my job most of the year consists of DJing at nightclubs," Guy-Man said this, revealing that he wasn't simply Guy-Man, one of the elusive, hard to find members of Daft Pony that only has a tour every few years, but he was also a DJ at a nightclub fairly frequently.
  7. @@Little Red, Completely confused about the events that had just unfolded, Guy-Man thought he would talk to the mare who seemed to know the most about him. "Hi..." he said, unsure how to talk to her after what just happened. "You, uhh... You seem to know what to do around here, is there anything fitting for a stallion like me? It seems like nopony wants my help. I mean, just because I was rich and famous back home doesn't mean I can't lend a helping hoof. I was being trained by my father to join the military before I became a musician," he said proudly to the mare. "Oh, I'm terribly sorry, the name's Guillaume Emmanuel, but most ponies know me as Guy-Manuel. Might I ask what your name is?"
  8. I got the Valve Collection, which has 24 games that I'm too lazy to write down, Lego Batman 3, Lego Batman 3: Season Pass, Lego: The Hobbit, and the Deus Ex Collection, and I didn't go over my $60 budget.
  9. I meant the Canterlot Royal Wedding emergency broadcast, I couldn't find anything about that.
  10. @@Illiad Easle, @@Yoshikupo, "This sword is not made from this metal, although you will need new weapons if you wish to help me kill this demon. According to the scrolls and books, this metal can harm ethereal beings, just like mine, but it can not change form as far as I can tell. Make some new weapons for everyone, I'll go get some more silver. Oh, and the armor is supposed to have gold trim apparently, it amplifies magic. I threw some gold into that cauldron over there, I'll lend you the scroll so you can see the design," Agravain said to Chain. "I'll explain about the man in the vision while all these things are cooling, but I don't know how we're going to heat it up enough. There might me some weapon molds lying around as well, I'll look for them," he finished, heading to the top floor to grab more silver and a few weapon molds. (I'll share the image in OOC, it's from a game and I got a message saying I couldn't share it.)
  11. @@Yoshikupo, @@Illiad Easle, Agravain looked at some of the scrolls he picked up and started reading them to himself. On the third one he made a discovery. "Guys," he said, "This metal isn't mined, it's made! Of course! That would explain why it looks like that. You take some silver and throw it into some sort of device." Looking around the room, he found a large pile of silver bars. "According to these scrolls, the device is on the 2nd floor, and the metal is called noventu arli, in modern language, astral silver," he said, grabbing as many bars of silver as he could and taking them to the second floor where he saw the device. He threw it in, but nothing happened. Referring back to the scroll, he saw that the device melted the silver using Heavenly Body Magic. "This is too coincidental, there's something that connects me to this tower... Perhaps it's the man in the vision..." he said aloud, casting the only non-offensive spell he knew of that involved Heavenly Body Magic at the device. "Chain, fetch the molds, I've managed to melt the silver somehow," he said, looking at the molten metal as it turned black and starry. Referring to one of the books, it said that the armor was also made with gold trim, as gold had magical properties as well. He ripped the coin purse from his belt and dumped all the gold into a separate cauldron and asked "Do we have a pyromancer?"
  12. @@Illiad Easle, @@Yoshikupo, Noticing that the tower was dark, Agravain spoke in the same language he had spoken earlier to open the door. "Luxio," was all he said, and the tower was filled with light. Now able to see, Agravain walked further into the tower to see book cases that went all the way to the ceiling of the room, which had to be at least 50 feet high, and all the way around as well. There were thousands upon thousands of books. Right before he started grabbing as many books as he could, he found himself having another vision. He was back as the same man he was in his first vision, and he walked up to some sort of platform in the middle of the room, which rose up, past several floors with several more books, several other wizards, and many experiments. The platform suddenly seemed to stop at the top story of the tower, which seemed to be a private study, with only a few, obviously powerful wizards experimenting on the metal. There was a beautifully crafted desk littered with potions, books, and scrolls, which he approached. Then the vision ended. Instead of the headache he had before, he had the urge to follow in the exact foot steps of the man. He walked further into the tower, and stepped on the platform, which, just as in the vision, rose to the top story. He walked to the desk and picked up the books and scrolls. He then walked back to where he saw the wizards experimenting on the metal, which was still there. There was even a mold for armor already there. 'This is very strange,' Agravain thought, 'This mold is exactly like the sketch I made of how I wanted my armor made...' Returning to the platform, he returned to the bottom floor to get Chain. "Hey Chain, I found the metal, and there's already an armor mold for it!"
  13. I don't know about that emergency broadcast, and I can't find anything about it on Google. Perhaps you were only hearing what you wanted to hear. I still don't believe that there is enough proof judging by one person's experiences.
  14. Whenever I saw the first episodes, I thought Spike would be one of the main characters, boy was I wrong. With the whole King Sombra event (I don't understand why everyone hates him), I thought the writers had kind of realized that Spike was a character that people wanted more of, and I really thought that he was going to be treated the way he should have been from then on out. Man was I wrong. I think I could agree that he has become a plot device.
  15. No, I don't, not if you don't have someone else who could attest to it. And even so, it's possible that you both misheard what they said. Happens all the time to me. I would be more inclined to believe you if, say, several people heard the same thing on the radio station.
  16. Lightning struck right in front of me on my last day of 10th grade (which was this year). Everything went white so I thought I had died. When I heard the crash and felt my hair stand up and the heat, I almost collapsed in the parking lot in prayer to thank the Lord I didn't die. My friend said that it was Thor trying to smite me for hating on Marvel, and I replied that it was Shazam trying to turn me into another Shazam.
  17. @@ScarfaceOne, A scientific theory still needs some basis besides coincidences, I mean, I think I hear people call my name all the time, but no one else hears it, I've seen a UFO (I thought I was crazy at first, and I may be, but someone else yelled "Did you see that?" pointing to where it was,) and all that stuff, but people hear and see things that aren't there all the time. Perhaps it is something similar to how you're describing, but I'd like to advocate that these things are just us hearing/seeing things. I believe in aliens, because it seems so likely, I mean, there's proof of hundreds of millions of other planets, but there is no proof of alternate universes (obviously, otherwise we wouldn't be arguing), and nothing suggesting of them besides books, movies, games, etc. that people have made. Look, I respect that you believe this, but I can't agree with you until you give me more evidence than just your experiences. I mean, I believe in God, but there are so many people that report his existence through spiritual journeys, and books dating back thousands of years, but the multiverse theory is still relatively new, with little basis. I would love to believe it, though.
  18. @@Drago Ryder, @@Illiad Easle, @@Child Of Darkness, @@Yoshikupo, @, @@clockwork24, "Come on team, into the tower. We don't have much time to waste," Agravain said in a commanding tone. 'That's the first time I've ever spoken to anyone like that, yet it feels... natural... Who am I... Why do people associate me with the Dark Lord, why am I the one who found the Changeblade, why am I so damn important? Who was that man in my vision, and why do I feel like I know him, he has to be thousands of years old...' Thinking these silent thoughts to himself, Agravain felt as though he was going through some sort of existential crisis. 'My parents always told me I was adopted... I always thought they said it to spite me... What if it's true? Could that man be my ancestor? Those are the only visions I know of...'
  19. @@Child Of Darkness, "I... I have no idea what I just did... I had some sort of vision... All of you were gone, there was no forest and there were no runes on the cliff face, and the tower was completely visible. The person I was was speaking in some ancient language, the one I just spoke in, and I came back, and I could read the runes... I have no idea how I did it though. I understand what they mean, but I can't figure out how to translate it," Agravain said to Shana with a look of worry and concern for the wellbeing of his party and himself. "Thank you, Shana."
  20. @@Skullbuster, Yelping a little bit in pain, Emile put his batons together, which then extended from the ends to form a bo staff. Running forward a few steps, he planted it into the ground and vaulted feet first into Shock Wave, kicking him in the chest with his full force, knocking him to the ground and hopefully knocking the wind out of him.
  21. So my dad set up wall speakers in my room and they're so loud if I got a drink mixer and some strobe lights I could open up a club.

  22. Another point of my argument, sorry you didn't understand it, I'll try to say it better. You're using unobtanium, a metal that is not proven to exist outside of the film Avatar to prove your theory that matter can indeed be created, even though the film Avatar is fictional. You're saying that fiction exists, but there is no proof of this, so your theory is pure speculation with nothing supporting it. As for the DVD part, you're using that theory to attempt to prove that these alternate universes are real. You are using a theory with no facts to support it to support another theory.
  23. @@Drago Ryder, @@Illiad Easle, @@Yoshikupo, @@Child Of Darkness, @@clockwork24, @, "Just because you found the door doesn't mean we can walk right i-" Agravain stopped talking as everyone seemed to disappear, and the landscape changed as well. The runes weren't on the cliff face, and there was no forest. In front of him was a completely visible tower, and a large door. He realized he was having some sort of vision. The man he was started speaking in a language he had never heard, but somehow he understood, and the door opened, then the vision ended. Agravain looked around and everything was back to normal, except he could read the runes on the wall. Speaking in a language that seemed extremely old, he read the runes "Naryu espa luren to nani kamo lenpa sorya," he said, unsure how he could understand it, stumbling backwards a bit and putting his hands on his head to soothe the extreme pain he was in all of a sudden. After he read the runes, the door flew open and the tower became visible. 'What just happened...' he thought.
