Feels like many have been able to replicate the success I haven't had in a pretty dang looooong time.

Sad that things just aren't the same anymore where I had some optimism about what's to come in the "not so distant" future, but that "not so distant" future was eons ago and I'm still hardly better off. Is it me? I just want to harden myself to certain desires, but it's tough. There's hardly any opportunity anymore that I felt I had much more of in the past, and that wasn't much to begin with either. Feels like I've flunked in more ways than one whereas my peers are grades of grade school ahead of me.

Don't take anything for granted. I don't either, but, one needs some positive change every now and then.
