    Hey I just updated the picture to a perfect quality one. I bought the full version of ArtStudio and remade the picture in perfect 640x960.

    Hi. I had an idea for a Sheogorath reference in my latest drawing 'Spike vs Discord' and I was just wondering... Would charred, burning pony corpses raining down from the sky in the background be too... morbid? This is all I have done on the picture so far.

    I used symmetrical drawing and around 2000% zoom on the eyeglass frame thingy. It seems hard, but ArtStudio has all the tools to make it easy. This took like maybe 3-4 hours I guess? Wasn't really paying attention.

    It's called ArtStudio Lite and it's awesome. I have the full version now but I drew this picture on the free version, both are amazing.

    Wow that looks amazing! One thing I noticed though was that her eye color seems to be a bit off. Other than that it's nearly perfect!

I kinda wish I spent just a little more time on the background but I was really excited to post it! ^^ Ooooh wait your talking about the Final Fantasy III app! Silly me. Yep that was the first app I ever paid money for. I'm cheap lol.

    ArtStudio Lite. I am a huge fan of it. It has a fantastic line smoothing feature, layers, unlimited undos and redos. And it's freee?? Yes siree bob!

    I tried to put Derpy in a scholar outfit from the DS version of FF3. I thought it would be cute to put her in a serious/intellectual job position like this. Here's the picture I used as a reference for her outfit.

    I'm just wondering what programs you artistic people would recommend I use. I have a fantastic app on my iPhone that has a line smoothing feature called "drawing delay" you can set it from 1 to 30 pixels. You drag your finger and it draws a line slightly behind it making a VERY smooth line depending on how far back its set. I downloaded the Photoshop CS5 trial and surprisingly it doesn't have anything like this at all. It has a little "Smoother lines" check-box but its very ineffective and not what I was looking for. This is a feature I feel like I would need even if I decided to buy an art tablet. So for now I actually prefer the free ArtStudio iPhone app over Photoshop for pony drawings. Are there any other good programs I should try out? I would be shocked if nothing could match up to an iPhone app... Just for reference the app has layers, unlimited undos and redos, unlimited zoom and an excellent line smoother. That's pretty much all I really need.

    The only cartoon character I can think of that HASN'T been mentioned on this thread yet would be Vixie from Fox and the Hound. She's sort of adorable.

    Hmm female charm is a powerful thing but having periods sound like it sucks a lot... I guess if I had to choose I'd just stick with being a guy.
