My very first surgical dental appointment did that to me. I have never felt a worse pain in my life, and it lasted for days.

Mine wasn’t so serious. But she was flossing my teeth and hurting me and wouldn’t listen to me, so I got really angry. She also would make jokes about poking my exposed nerve, which I DID NOT appreciate.

Seriously, you don’t jam the floss down into your gums to clean them. You just need to shimmy it in there and scrape the sides. But she was being very needlessly rough.

I would definitely never go back to see here again then. Find another dentist for sure. Maybe just even a whole other office. You have to be careful these days. Not to mention looking at cost depending on what you are getting. Yikes.
