Almost seven years later, Welcome to the Show remains such a classic, the best song of Rainbow Rocks, and one of FIM's best.

I've said it here before, but timestamp 4:01 and 4:50 are the two most important, and my very favorite moments in the entire film. in 4:01, Sunset threw away the last vestiges of her old life. All her lingering self doubts and feelings of being unworthy were cast aside along with her jacket.
Then, at 4:50, she was finally able to forgive herself for the mistakes of her past, and was able to rise up and proudly take her rightful place with her friends.
Then, and only then, were they ALL able to summon forth the Cosmic Alicorn and quite literally save the entire planet from being subjugated by the evil Sirens
I still tear up a bit when I watch it.
In all this, Vinyl is the unsung hero. (Pun intended)
They wouldn't have been able to defeat the sirens if Vinyl didn't somehow manage to combine their magic with her advanced audio technology.
