      It's ALWAYS bothered me. Ever since that disgusting dad shamed his teenaged daughter by calling her "fat" and "lazy" and then shot her laptop.

       

      But what bothers me so much more is how much it's celebrated. It's not discipline. It's bullying. People like the parents who shame them and the suck-ups who advocate it are a big root of many of today's youth problems.
