Unfortunately, we need a few sacrifices like this before any action can really be taken to criminalize trolling. Trolls operate the way they do because there aren't enough laws in place or sufficient methods of enforcing those laws. They also operate mainly on sites where moderation is loose. Unfortunately, people will defend these behaviors with the First Amendment and such. The best thing we can do now is educate people and websites on how to best avoid exposing themselves to such hein...
