    Back from seeing Star Wars: The Force Awakens. I won't spoil it, other than it's 1 million percent better than the prequels.

      When Star Wars was introduced, George Lucas had no expectations. When Phantom Menace was being produced, Lucas had major expectations.

       

      When Abrams and crew wrote and produced TFA, expectations laid on their shoulders far higher than Lucas ever did. Not only did Abrams have to introduce new fans to SW. He had to get long-time fans' trust back.
