  1. Have to agree with him and the OP. It doesn't matter if you feel the impeachment process was partisan or not. The #1 assignment of anyone in Congress is to defend the U.S. Constitution and uphold the rule of law. Trump clearly abused his power by trying to get oppo info from Ukraine, and he obstructed Congress on multiple occasions. On both (weak) Articles of Impeachment, Tulsi Gabbard and every Republican (or Dem) who voted anything other than "aye" determined that their own agenda mattered more than maintaining accountability upon the president. Tulsi's silence, in particular, is more deafening by using a cowardly "present" vote, thus determining that not choosing was the better "choice." Disappointing.

Should she win the nomination, I'll vote for her. But for now, she lost my primary vote.

@Alastor And she's the only one who did. Everyone else caved to the Establishment in one way or another. And I am 99% sure that Bernie's going to do the exact same thing for hopefully good reasons, and it will disappoint the f*** out of me.

The only thing that matters here is WHY he's being impeached, and it's all wrong. The only acceptable vote without any extenuating circumstances is no vote at all. If it were for the RIGHT reason, I'd be on her tail in a heartbeat. But since it's a hackjob, I have to give her credit.

If he does, hopefully he will at least distance himself from the establishment so he does not appear to be just jumping on some bandwagon~

@Alastor In his case, it may hurt him if he doesn't vote yes. But hopefully, he'll give a satisfactory explanation of why he would say yes, otherwise my support for him will be a bit weaker because it's simply the wrong vote. He has distanced himself from the Establishment a good deal already, so it is no dealbreaker. Especially because of how he has distanced himself from them. He's gone to the left of the Establishment and actually showed he has genuine concern for people. Like actually getting behind Medicare for All, unlike every other candidate in the race including Yang AND Tulsi, and really standing up to the "Choicecare" $#!+.
