MLB's baseballs are bright white when out of the factory, but all of their balls during the game have a yellow/brown tinge on them, as you can see here.
MLB's baseballs hot out of the factory are too slippery and hard to grip, so before every game, the umpiring crew rubs every single baseball with rubbing mud from a New Jersey company called Lena Blackburne. The mud allows pitchers to grip onto the baseball.
