Thanks. I am nervous about this job as it is a lot busier than my previous job.

      You'll do fine then.

  4. I had a similar situation with my job, which I recently quit. I cannot go into exact details, yet, but my story is very similar to your's.
  5. Yeah, I saw you and Cloudbolt (the panel). I did not see you afterwards, though. I saw Cloudbolt interviewing people. Saw some interesting costumes, including those actual pony ones. WOW! Those looked amazing.
  6. This time last week, we were in the full swing of the BronyCAN.
  7. Have a new job! Now, my ankle has to get better soon.

  8. This time last week, I was prepping for the BronyCAN

  9. Well, I know that I am already looking forward to next year's.
  10. Morning. I am actually craving cheesecake, this morning. Any pony have any? ;)

  11. I saw those drinks. I do not drink, but I thought it was creative of them to do that.
  12. Yeah, the feeling will happen at other Conventions. I do hope you made friends with the other bronies there (outside of this forum).
  13. Yeah, at the closing ceremonies, she was chatting with a father and his son who were sitting beside me. I do not know why, but I thought she was this kid's teacher. I know! I know! I should be ashamed of myself. I hope she shows up next year.
  14. I agree, but often hotels etc are booked with other commitments. It really depends on the weekend that they can acquire. I suspect a few people did not mind the Anime Convention was happening at the same time, especially if their family does not know about their love for MLP.
  15. Welcome! The BronyCAN was my first, too. Fluttershy is one of my favorites, too.
  16. If anyone who attended the BronyCAN 2014, I hope you put your suggestions for BronyCAN 2015. This was my first Brony Convention. It was the first time that I was out in public admitting that "I am a Brony!" I suspect that I was not alone. POSITIVE: One of the highlights was witnessing all the Bronies mingling with each other. There was a lot of socialization and encouragement from each other. Athough I was among the "older" crowd, it warmed my heart to see that the younger generation are learning how to be better without judgement. NEGATIVE: Photoshoot for the Cosplayers should have been in a bigger room, as it was way too small for everyone to take pictures. My suggestion is a larger room and for photographers to be able to take pictures without other photographers messing up their shots, I admit that I must have done that to a number of photographers at the event. Even then, my photos did not turn out as well as I had hoped. POSITIVE & NEGATIVE: Different programs (even repeating programs for certain topics). Does it cost more money to rent out more rooms? I know that I was looking forward to doing the bullying panel. Next convention, I hope this panel happens. Topic Suggestions: Writing original fan fiction Drawing original art work Brony Pride booth. Where fans can share their favorite pony..
  17. Resting my sprained ankle and wishing there was another day of the BronyCAN.

Walking on it is not helping my foot.

  18. That sketch was awesome. I had to control my spending, so I missed out on a lot of things that I wanted to buy. I will state this, again..... I would like to applaud all the Bronies who were friendly with each other. There was so much socialization with each other happening. I could not help, but watch with amazement. Kudos to those who attended the event and made as a lot of other Bronies feel welcome to it. Next year, I suspect even more will show up to it. There were already people rushing to register for next year's event. AWESOME!
  19. You could be a changeling and not realize it. Did you check yourself, today? I missed Anime Revolution for the past couple of years. This was my first Brony Convention.
  20. Recovering from the BronyCAN!

  21. For those who were at the Convention heard at the closing ceremony that Nicole Oliver decided to do the Ice Bucket Challenge, which has been sweeping the social media by storm. Here is the link: Nicole Oliver's Ice Bucket Challenge If you do not want to click my link, you can see the video on Youtube. She is right about ALS: Unlike cancer and other diseases, ALS is not funded as much by the general public. When I, myself, heard about the disease was horrified about it. Nicole suggests donating, but if you want to both....GO FOR IT! Kudos to Nicole for doing it....
  22. Can we place our feedback on the BronyCAN (2014) on here?
  23. After attending my first BronyCAN, I was one of the rare bunch of older fans. I will state this that from what I saw from the younger bronies....they were showing how friendly they were to each other. They were happy to see each other. They shared their interests. They were strangers, but friends by common bond for their love for the show. This made this old guy (me) feel good about being there.
  24. I wasn't either. I thought it was an awesome idea.
  25. No livestream that I am aware of. SUNDAY! I hope everyone that is attending today has an awesome day! Looking forward to the Cosplay photo shoot.
