  1. A dog and a rarity episode. That's what the episode pretty much was with how well Rarity handled the Diamond Dogs, and starting Rarity's connnection with Sapphire Shores, it's a nice episode.

  2. I was at an elemantary school in the U.S state of Georgia when it happened. I didn't knew what had happened till tomorrow where I read newspapers declaring 'Freedom attacked' messages all over it. I wasn't entirely sure of what had happened but I did knew that something terrible happened.
  3. Show Stoppers still remains a bad episode for just how idiotic the CMC were and how this season 1 episode spoiled whatever intrigue we could've had with the CMC's.

      And that god awful ending...

      FUCKING COMEDIANS?! ARE YOU STUPID?!

Sorry, I just hate that episode with a passion.

      I think it's dumb in a funny way :P

@Ludicrous, honestly I may have to give it the lowest grade of any season 1 episode I've reviewed for just how bad it was.

@Megas75, I wish it was so bad it's good funny, but their stupidity killed any chance for it.

  4. http://mlpforums.com/blog/1500/entry-13108-fim-stare-master-episode-review/ Another day, another review. Come and discuss what you think please.
  5. Or at least it was her best season perhaps.

  6. Finished watching stare master. Nothing really great, but it was an effective Fluttershy episode that has me more convinced that Fluttershy was the best character of season 1.

That episode is one of those episodes I keep forgetting about like with A bird in the hoof. It wasn't bad it was just down the middle for me. Also, man Chris Savino wasn't a very good writer on this show.

True, I was surprised that he wrote this as I thought he only wrote boast busters. Otherwise, this is a middle of the road episode that has nothing really memorable outside of Fluttershy's stare and the CMC antics.

  7. As for the question, I feel jokes are funny when all parties involved find it funny. It's one of the core importance of humor, finding an audience that will like your joke and say it with correct timing and tone.
  8. Continue with your posts as long as you like. No one should tell you to stop something you have passion for so long as it's not hurting people. You're doing fine, keep going.
  9. It was after getting disturbed by a pony from his sleep, had another one trying to lie and steal his treasure, another one being annoying, then finally another one deciding to attack him. I'd say it was a case of his patience wearing out.
  10. Annoyed but not exactly injured.
  11. It also doesn't help that FIM dragons don't have much feats for 1v1 battle outside of tolerance for heat (they can swim in lava like it's a bath), flight and fire breath, and noted for having thick scales that a baby dragon doesn't consider needles at all uncomfortable.
  12. http://mlpforums.com/blog/1500/entry-13088-fim-sonic-rainboom-episode-review/ Latest review up. Come and offer your critiques for my review please.
  13. Nice eye catching Spike's suit in 'Feeling Pinkie Keen', and nice review for this great season finale.
  14. So you were right, Sonic Rainboom wasn't that great of an episode. It's not terrible, but I certainly won't view it as a grade A episode anymore.

IM was a Meghan episode, yeahh. Powell wouldn't be able to dish that out on her own and the whole thing would've been filled with shoddy and unlikable characters, completely out of character behavior (Hey, y'all! I've usually got good common sense, but let's sleep in that there dark cave in the middle of the woods while Rarity's past development gets completely ignored and RD shows no concern for Scootaloo for 3/4 of the episode but people still flip out about it...

  15. Watched Sonic Rainboom and honestly, it's not as good as I remember it for many reasons. So far it's probably the episode that suffered the worst in my retrospective reviews of season 1

Uh... Rainbow Falls ring a bell?

Not counting Rainbow Falls because all the other three mentioned would obviously obliterate it in quality regardless of what my new opinion on Sonic Rainboom is. But yes, if all RD episodes were counted, you're correct that Rainbow Falls is by far the weakest.

    4. Megas

      Megas

Meh, I still maintain that Mare Do Well was the weakest RD episode :/

  16. Luna has it in both her Nightmare Moon and her regular form, and Sombra can also use it as well so it's assumed the top tiers may hold intangibility of their own. I'm just making a query was all.
  17. When did Naruto achieve such level of power. Did the mangaka got tired of his creation being used as a punching bag by OBD shitposters?
  18. I have a question as well, does intangibility negate the effect of mind fuck or not?
  19. That is true. Twilight was able to bend a straw with her telekinisis, and considering how Tirek used it in combat applications, telekinesis can be used in combat in FIM verse. As for why we don't see it in such a heavy fashion as say magic lasers, it's simply writers probably not thinking too creatively about telekinesis use or due to the nature of using telekinisis (breaking someone's body for example), it would probably be too violent to use it in the fashion I believe they can. True, but if any of the top tier FIM characters are bloodlusted, they're going to throw the sun at the verse immediately.
  20. Then my error, and thank you for pointing it out, Darker.
  21. Because since they can move the sun and moon at will, what is to stop them from sending the moon or sun to Equestria or any other planet if they were bloodlusted? True. Also very true in this regard. As you've said before, Tirek in G1 was essentially Tirek in G4 if he were allowed to kill and threaten people's lives with death threats. Perhaps, but if she were bloodlusted, her telekinesis can do that.
  22. God =/= omnipotent like God of Christianity. For example, the gods in GOW were little more than just super powered mages if we were to gauge them by their power instead of their status as gods. There are many characters in fiction who aren't gods that would beat the shit out of them.
