    If the leadership of Equestria's towns are as ineffective, ungrateful, and dependent on the Princesses to do all their thinking for them as they were in "Princess Spike", it's no wonder Celestia delights in ruining the Grand Galloping Gala every time it's portrayed.

      Seriously. Why is it a Princess's business to make sure all pipes and trees are they way they should be; fixed and cut, respectively?

       

      Celestia's trollish humor such as in that last Gala episode made her a more favorable character to me.
