  1. Spout any headcanons about the world of Equestria! The one with humans, mind you. Here's mine: EG is a parallel universe to Equestria but it is during a different time. The fact that Twilight was at a different school (as mentioned by Ponkle) at the time of the film draws a parallel between EG and FiM, since in S1E1 FiM Twilight was in a different town (Canterlot) and moved to Ponyville later. It appears in the same episode that all the others of the mane six didn't even know each other.
  2. draw the wizard man in my pp as a horse brosquito
  3. I love the Flim Flam brothers, but they were written awfully in this episode. Their characters were warped completely.
  4. I don't know, I can definitely see why you'd say that but I don't think I really agree. Lennie was a handy, simple guy (was ), but Big Mac seems to be a more complex character who isn't simple as Lennie is. He's even proved himself to be smarter than AJ at some points. I guess this is probably why people don't instantly link the two characters.
  5. Celestia Redux, if I'm not wrong, is just an interpretation of the font seen on MLP products. It's a free version and practically a knockoff of this font, which although costly is the actual font used for the series. It's not all that different, but it's the best font to go for if you have to use an MLP-themed font.
  6. Josh Haber also wrote Castle Mane-ia and Simple Ways, which were both received badly. The Flim Flam brothers especially were displayed in the wrong way as straight-up frauds instead of the entrepreneurs with a revolutionary idea that they were before. I actually like that Applejack was finally challenged with a hard decision, one thing that I've never really liked about her is that she's pretty much unflawed: "I didn't learn anything! I was right all along!". It's nice to see a conflict that challenges her character.
  7. I see why you don't like this font, but I think I again agree with Jokuc. I'm not sure if this was his point or not, but it would be a fair bit nicer than what you're using in the nav bar at present, as it seems like it's coming out of nowhere (it only appears in the nav bar). Another thing with fonts is that Celestia Redux, where it is present, is in all capitals which is unessential and equally unappealing (IMO, mind you).
  8. I just joined here so I don't know if my opinion is all that relevant or not, but what strikes me is that the header image is overly large. I'm not saying I don't like the image, it's just really big - it takes up over half the page! Also, this is probably just nitpicking but I also don't like how said image is separate from the box below (also misaligned, slightly to the right by ~10px), maybe if it was put a layer below that box (so the image was overlayed slightly by it), it would look nicer and make the image not so overwhelming. I also agree with Jokuc that the drop-down menu part is a little funky.
  9. I'm gonna make friends so hard, I'm gonna make a whole show about it! With blackjack and hookers! horses and magic!
  10. *Generic argument for why EG actually wasn't that bad* That's a terrible point. Citizens of Ponyville are constantly fooled into things (take the Flim Flam brothers as an example). Anyway, most of the points that you lot have about it being 'dumb' or a 'cash grab' are either opinion or fact that you've used in the wrong way. Yes EG was a cash grab - Hasbro is a company that has to support itself. EG wasn't dumb, it was a smart move on behalf of the company and the fact that you've all taken the time to watch it just means that they're getting money from it. Ka-ching! But look at it this way: the production of EG keeps MLP:FiM going.
  11. Thank you kindly Mr.Italics!
  12. My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Rarity How did you find MLP Forums?: Some other people on BH use it; I jumped on the bandwagon. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Well boy-o, if you'd like to hear my tale, there's a free space on my knee at any time. (It's not that interesting) Hello! I'm Squint from Brohoof, some few of you might know me from there. I probably won't be all that active here, not that it'll bother you.
