As much as I adore Pinkie Pie(and I do, I really do ), I adore Applejack just as much, and it's time for honesty, family, and apples to get their due. Vote Applejack!

And she even came dressed in fancy! Gotta admit this outfit is one of the best things about Simple Ways.

It's all good ... like I said in my initial post about the two characters ... Pinkie is random goodness. You shouldn't feel bad about voting for her.

I know that some AJ fan's may not like the parodies out there ... but this does seem appropriate to a degree.

I love Pinkie. She is the embodiment of the old Looney Tunes and Animaniacs characters. The Smile Song and Pinkie's Lament remain some of my favorite songs of the series. I know that Derpy has been touted as the mascot of the fandom, but I personally see Ms. Pie as that representation much better. She makes me smile ... and reminds me that even adults should allow themselves moments of being goofy and random.

Here it comes.

I voted for Applejack. I have more personal reasons to connect to her character than any other on the show. I appreciate her tireless drive, work ethic, and absolute dedication to her family. Applejack is my ideal self in many ways. She is who, many years ago, I decided I would work to become. If not for Rarity, AJ would have wound up as my favorite.

Then there is the head cannon / loose cannon.

Are you talking about Print on Demand? I know I haven't really discussed this on MLPF much, but this is something I am very familiar with. Self publishing, POD, and vanity press services all have barriers to entry for fan fiction authors. Most of the POD services have very strict TOS about intellectual properties not owned by you.

That said, if Amazon adds the MLP license to Kindle Worlds imprint then I'm all in.
