  1. So Season 3 had half the number of episodes then the other ones (I am assume to make time to work on the first Equestria Girls). dos anyone else wish they would have just made 13 more season 3 episodes? I really like S3. all the episodes were A or B's (to me anyway) but I think that is because they cut out all of the C or D episode ideas since they would not have time to work on them so we only got the best of the 26 episode ideas they had. what do you guys think?
  2. I sweat more then anyone I have ever seen. its only when I am hot, or exorcising. I even sweat in the winter when doing stuff like snowshoeing, I never thought of it as a problem, I just need to make shore I have the right clothes on (cotton dos not do well for me)(all though, no clothes would be the right thing to where wen working out in the heat!). I find it works well because I can ride a bike when it is 90F out all day with out a problem. I do need to take a L of water per hour with me. (when doing an 8 hour bike ride, this can be a big deal to take that much water). when I run I sweat the most because of the lack of airflow. I when for a 2 hour run the other day and did something I never did before. I have soaked my shirt, shorts, and underwear to the point that it is like I jumped in a pool but on that run I also soaked my socks to the point that even my shoe laces where wet! anyway, even thought I sweat more than anyone I have ever seen. I don't feel like I sweat to much, I feel like most people don't sweat enough.
  3. That sucks. I use garmin (an edge 500, and the app on my android phone) I don't like the idea of competing with other people so I stay as far away from Strava as I can.
  4. when this happens when a good song is on.
  5. Nice! I can't even ride one KM with out braking a sweat! I sweat a lot, on a 160KM ride I drink around 5-6L of water with out having to go to the bath room! Its never to late to learn ;-) there is no age limit on have fun on a bike.
  6. So, when I was in school I was never into sports (I don't like competing with people, I hate losing to the point that wining is not fun, I just see it as not losing). I was a bit overweight and had like no muscle. I also have ADD and it is very had for me to focus and stuff that I am not into. So I a bike in high school that I did not use to much but did use for shot trips around town. I graduated in 03 and stop riding after I got a car in 02. I started going to the gym in 06 or 07? and found that I like the way I felt after I got some exorcise. I could focus more and was more relaxed since I did not have a lot of pent up energy (if you have ever seen a dog that is running around the house being a pest and this is good after they get to run around the back yard, that is me). so in 08 I got mountain bike (a specialized rockhopper) it I really like offroad biking a lot! I wanted to go faster and for longer so I started working out more and eating better (no more soda and french fries). the more I improved my fitness and the better I ate, the better I felt and the more fun I had on the bike, and the more fun I had on the bike the more I wanted to improve my fitness. In 2010 I got a hi end MTB bike (a specialized stumpjumper FSR 26") 2011 I got a road bike to help train and I did my fist 100 mile ride, and now I am training to do an Ironman triathlon (that is a race that you swim 2.4 miles, bike 112 miles and run 26.2 miles all in a row, the timer start when you get in the water and stops when you finish the run). also I have made a lot of friends helping out with the local Mountain bike club fixing and building new trails. So Mountain biking has really changed my life and made me into who I am today. anyone else have a love for cycling? this was after my first 40+ mile ride in eary 2011 This was just after my first and only 155 mile ride in summer 2012 and this was me over the weekend in Vermont doing a 6+ hour MTB ride at a MTB fest
  7. You out on a really hard bike ride (or run, hike ext.) and your just wiped out and all you want to do is stop, and your thinking to your self "what the hell am I doing out here" and then, out of nowhere you see something truly breathtaking and you forget all about the pain and you just think to your self, "WOW, that is really amazing looking". then you keep going with a smile on your face! Forrest gump know just what I am talking about. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISJ0VsnCvDo
  8. I get what your saying about being at home is better but the funny thing is that at my house there is 4 other people there and someone is always making nose, fighting with someone or looking for me to do something, so at the movies is less distracting. at my ex girl friends place, we had a kick ass TV/movie setup with dark room, 46" HD TV, and a PS3 with an HDMI cable, and it was just the two of us, it was better then a movie theater! Just one of lots of stuff that I really miss about dating her. anyway I am still amassed that most people main reason for going to the movies is not because they really loves movies and really want to see the one there going to.
  9. one of the points I was making is that all the girl stuff is just superficial. there called ponies but what if they changed the name to something else and took all the harts and stuff out. the real content of the show is not made for little girls, it made for anyone. I think the only thing that makes it a girls show is the marketing of it.
  10. So I always here people refer to MLP:FIM as a "girls show" but if you take a good look at it you see that really only the stuff like the name of the show, logo, colors and other cosmetic things are "girly". if you look at the story, carters and every thing else that makes the show great, it is all very gender neutral. I don't think it should be called a "girls" show because it really is not. what do you all think? also on a side note, I always wanted to know if someone changed all the "girly" stuff like the colors, logos, opening song to more "boy" like stuff but left the show the same (even leave the female voices) and showed it to boys in the target age that its made for girls how they would react?
  11. I think twilight's kingdom was just about a movie. it had the epic story and passing of a movie. if it was a 3 part episode, I would have gone to the movies and payed money to see it and been happy about it.
  12. 1, anytime some one uses the term "morally wrong" they give the imprison that they disprove of something with out any thought behind it. a lot of people find masturbating, non sexual nudity or loving someone of the same sex to be "morally wrong" and want to force every one to not be able do any of these things just "because". I think of the phrase "morally wrong" as a type of blind hate word like a racial slurs. I think some one who is a pedophile is bad because they destroy kids lives, not because its "morally wrong". 2, you say your "disgusted by anyone who does it regularly". so anyone anywhere who drinks on the regularly is disgusting to you. no matter how much of a non problem they may be, you put them in the same group as some one that kills some one in a DWI. your talking like a hate group by lumping every one into just one big bunch and calling them all disusing.
  13. Your the best scumcandy, you almost always post what I am thinking so I don't have to, you may not have been trying to, but you did. and I don't even drink!
  14. So in another thread it seem more then a few people say they don't like alcohol so I thought I would make a new post with a poll about it. So I don't like to drink. in fact, I don't drink at all. I have tasted bear and hard liquor but have never been drunk (all though, I was wasted on morphine in the hospital once when I had to get my face sewn back together after smashing it into the window of a min van when riding my bike). I never started drinking for a few reasons. I have 3 older brothers and when they and there friends where teenagers, they would drink as much as they could all night and day until they where throwing up on them self's and passing out on the floor, I don't think I saw anyone under the age of 40 drink responsibly until I was in my early 20's! so when my friends started drinking, I really had do want to because it never fun at all to me. much later in life I have found out that I have a ISTJ personality and it can be common for that type personality to not drink a lot or at all because we don't like have less control over our selves or our surroundings, I never really had the need to turn off my brain so to speak. if there was a drug that would make me smarter and more focused and more in tune with stuff I my do that recreationally but something that makes me dumber and numb is not very appealing to me. how about every one else?
  15. the most "adult" thing I think I have seen on the show is this. making a refinance to a very R rated movie (and person) about heavy, hardcore drug use. I don't think that it was a mistake because no kid would ever know that it was a refinance to that movie or hunter s tomsion, and if they did, the damage has already been done. I really like when they put stuff in the show like this that is a R rated refinance but it its self 100% G rated.
  16. It a reference to the Puff the Magic Dragon, that is on big reference to smoking pot. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puff,_the_Magic_Dragon
  17. that what I meant, I forgot to put some "S" in there.
  18. O ya, I remember that too! I also remember the NES cartidges coming with an "end cap" to help keep the dust out. The problem seem to be worse on the NES, then The SNES but I could be wrong.
  19. I was born in 85 so I played the NES and SNES, but when I really got into gaming was with the PS1 (I also had a N64 but most of the games I like were on PS1) twisted metal 2 Metal Gear Solid, goldeneye and perfect dark are the games I really played the hell out of. I had a lot of free time back then and I played just about every ps1 game I ever thought I might have liked. it got to the point that I was beating games that I did not even like, I just did because I had rented it and I was board. at some point it felt like a job. also I remember when a disc was scratched and only 1/2 of the start up screen would play. you would take out the disc and try and clean it and try a few more time. each time I would hold my breath hopping that the 1/2 half of the start up screen would pay indicating that the game would work. anyone else remember that? also how weard was it with the black CD's? I find one ever now and then and I am like "o ya, ps1 disc's are black!"
  20. I was going to post that, you beet me to it lol. funny you say that. I had to opposite thing. I had too much beard for the cosplay. I have what I call a "high beard" as in it goes all most up to my eyes and cover just about my hole chin, where as Big Boss has a "low beard" where a good part of has cheek and chin is showing. I had to shave some of my beard off to do the cosplay.
  21. I was not a big fan of it because it did not have a very movie like story line. if you take away the setting and the songs there is not really a hole lot going on. it really just feels like a pilot episode for a spin off show (that's not going to be as good). the only good story line in the movie is you get to see twilight meeting the other main 6 for the first time so that was cool but other then that it just kind bland. I think "twilight kingdom" had a much more movie like story line to it.
  22. Cool, was your M4 made by FNH, they seem to very reliable....... wait a minute, how did this beard topic turn into a gun topic?
  23. Here is a video form a few years ago of me with no beard with my M14, AR-15 an MG-34. you want to talk about guns that don't brake, I have put over 2000 rounds down my M14 and the MG-34 made it through a world war and + 60 year of use before TRW made it into a semi auto only one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOeGGqzPMbs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPZjCAQ8-l4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HO2u94L2xE
