  1. I personally don't follow any religion and that is very rare in a mainly Muslim country such as mine. Most of my friends could be considered as more conservative and religious. It does occasionally cause some conflict and certain people may be put off but I've had great friendships with religious people.
  2. "Thank you for fixing the boiler on such short notice," She smiled politely and shook hands with them though they didn't exactly seem like boiler repairmen. "That'll be all, everything's in order. Now don't you have a class to teach?" Seeing no further reason to stay, they had to exit the office for others to see the principal with their official business. "Well, that went nowhere..." Starchase muttered as he kicked a stray can across the now empty hallway.
  3. I'm not exactly new to roleplaying but I could really use some advice on how to run one (I am a horrible GM) and a crash course on romance and 1x1 RPs among other things like character development
  4. They sauntered off to Principal Celestia's office, knocking softly on her door before entering, trying to look presentable and not like some crazy homeless people. "How can I help you all?" She looked rather surprised to see so many people looking for her at the same time.
  5. I've got everything in my head but I'm far too lazy to type it out
  6. I'm not sure what is part of your style and design but the ears are too small and the muzzle is too boxy, the back/rump area is too flat, chest is not round/big enough, legs too long, eyes too circular, should be more oval
  7. "Principal Celestia should be in her office, down the hall, take a right and it should be the third door on the left. You should be able to see her name on the door." He pointed out the door. "Hope your friend is okay, he seems devastated. If you need anything just let me know!" He winked at her before he left with a trolley of returned books.
  8. "Yep, one and only! How can I help you, Miss?" Flipnote scrambled around and pinned his name tag to his shirt. "Your friend there okay?" He pointed to Starchase who was still bawling his eyes out like an infant. "Is something wrong?" "Why-y..." Starchase just sobbed into his own arms. If he didn't keep it it down he'd start attracting unwanted attention.
  9. I put the pro in procrastination

  10. Following Amber's suggestion, they shuffled into the school building. Some of the student stopped briefly to take a glance at them. They were probably too old to be there. It was warmer inside, causing Starchase to feel sleepier. They slinked into the school library, trying not to attract attention. "Can I help you guys?" The librarian stood up from his desk. A familiar voice, it was no doubt someone they'd met before. He drummed his fingers as her waitied for an answer. "Flipnote?!" Starchase lifted his head up and stared hard at the librarian who squirmed a bit under his gaze. "Yes, have we met?" He was obviously rather freaked out. "Well, if you need me, just ask." With that he sat back down and went on with his work. The five chose a quiet spot and sat down to plan their next move. "What now?" Starchase asked as he neatly folded his arms and laid his head on the table. "We're stuck here. Forever. With our duplicates running around." From his tucked arms he could see his element upside down, hanging around his neck on its chain. Sticking out his hoof/hand, he tried to summon the nearest book off the shelf. Waving his hand like a seizure patient, nothing happened. "What in Cel-Why isn't it working?!" He barked. Flailing his arm like a spastic wasn't helping. He promptly curled into a ball, broke down and cried. Well at least they found out what was wrong. Magic's gone.
  11. I recently finished this piece: http://fav.me/d9fp8ig Never done a pony on two legs so advice would be nice
  12. "I think we'd better seek shelter. I'd hate to get wet," Starchase murmured. "It looks like it's about to pour." He looked up and stared blankly at the dark clouds. "This really isn't my idea of 'fun'. Quite the opposite, Amber." He sighed. "At least it's not an incoming blizzard, or snowing, right?" He tried to be optimistic but he felt rather drained. It was way easier to just be glum.
  13. Thanks! I actually find it harder to draw muscles, I'm never good at proportioning them. Always looks too bulky for me :/ proportions are something I need work on
  14. Could I just send you a PM? I'm a bit embarrassed.
  15. Starchase walked into the side of the statue where the portal had been when they first arrived. He painfully collided into the rock surface of the statue's base. Blood started to dribble out of his nostrils at an alarming rate. "I don't think the portal is there..." He said as he tried to hold back his tears. "Something is definitely wrong. I want to go home."
  16. I still have that character that I still haven't RP with or actually used. Just haven't got the chance but I'm not too sure how either I guess. Too scared to try I try to put myself in my player's shoes as often as possible but I'm most clueless on my own. Oh the irony.
  17. @@SFyr, Thanks for the advice! I have absolutely no idea how to manually create lines with varying thickness, I just used the default thin to thick line style and played around with it. I don't really have a definitive style but generally I do chibi stuff so I guess it shows, wasn't really aiming for any style in particular though. I tend to do big head, smaller body proportions so my sense of proportion is quick out of wack nowadays. Thanks again for your words of wisdom!
  18. I rarely do lined work so could I get some pointers on what I did right or wrong with this piece?
  19. "Well whatever it is, what happened to my dojo?!" Screamed the angry one who threatened them with physical violence. So in the end she left with the two Caliber in tow to fix up her place of residence. "She seems placated, for now." Starchase smiled weakly as he watched them disappear down the road. "If we want answers, I'm afraid we'll have to go ask the quack ourselves." Despite having just stopped over, they began walking back to the way they entered this world since they had nothing better to do anyway.
  20. geocaching? I've never met anyone who does that! Cool! Welcome to the forums!
  21. I've been trying to draw humans digitally and I can't seem to do it properly. It always looks wonky, and frankly really ugly. I'm not good at drawing humans in general so I'm in need of general advice on drawing humans. Also I'm using mouse for digital art, so no fancy tablets here. (I'm a stubborn cow so I don't use bases ) Any and all help is welcomed!
  22. I don't have a graphic tablet but whenever my S Pen acts up, 1)poke the tip on a hard surface 2) Open it up and adjust potentiometer
