So. This is the design of the Equestrian Cavalry's armor. First off, the cav. The Cavalry is basically Equestria's main infantry force for combatting foreign threats. Their specialty is attacking from the air, and quickly moving to secure objectives. They are much like the 1st air cav early in the Vietnam war, but rather than helicopters, they ride in chariots pulled by pegasi. Their armor is protective, but allows them to move freely, as opposed to a full suit of armor. The shoulder pieces are marked with the symbol of Celestia's cutie mark, the sun. In addition to the armor, The soldiers wear leggings over their shoes, on all four legs. The tail is uncovered, as is the flank, allowing for more freedom of movement. Their weapon is a magical energy rifle. When the Changelings attacked Canterlot, a weapons designer witnessed Pinkie Pie using Twilight Sparkle as a weapon. He then set out to design a weapon usable by Earth ponies, and pegasi as well as Unicorns. This weapon was powered by a magical crystal, and the energy was converted to bolts of lethal or nonlethal energy. Other crystals are housed in a detachable 'magazine' and types of magic can be swapped simply by changing the mag. Some types may light enemies on fire, while some types might stun, or paralize them. So... Eeyup... As you can see, mares are allowed to serve as well, unlike the Royal Guard.

Well, the soldiers would be like the Nazis. not the U.S Army. they'd be the truly evil ones who'd shoot the **** out of the little filly.

The town was empty. mostly anyways. Equestrian artillery and air strikes had all but leveled the town, turning it into a ruin. The place apparently had been completely taken over by the Gryphons, who would use it as a staging area for launching a major offensive. As far as Starlight could tell, this ‘intelligence’ wasn’t very accurate. So far, they hadn’t found ANY bodies, save for a few dead animals. They hadn’t found so much as a talon, or a feather since they began searching. The infantry was accompanied by an IFV, and a couple APCs with .50s mounted on them. Starlight thought this was a bit overkill, and strange, considering the 3rd ERA airborne didn’t normally operate with the armored cav. She was glad she’d only brought her weapon, and canteen. She probably wouldn’t even need the former, but obviously she brought it anyway. A few newer ponies in the company had brought everything they THOUGHT they would need, including their ponchos, extra water, blanket, rations, etc. Starlight always packed light. It was the airborne, they were supposed to pack light! Glancing to her right, she saw the platoon’s LMG gunner, a turquoise colored mare named MorningDew. Dew had a short, light brown mane and tail, with eyes the same color. MorningDew was one of the last original members of the platoon, as most of them had gone home after their tours were up. Starlight, Dew, and three other ponies had stayed. Now the platoon was mostly new recruits, and incredibly understrength. Suddenly, Starlight caught something in the corner of her eye. Suddenly, There was a burst of automatic fire, and she looked just in time to see the bullets tear into the Stallion to her left. “Sniper!” She yelled, dashing for cover. Dew landed roughly on top of Starlight as she took cover, barely missing the bullets that had been meant for her. The IFV began pounding nearby buildings with its 40mm cannon, unleashing devastation, each impact shaking the ground. Another burst, and a mare cried out as three bullets hit her right in the chest. “F***, that’s two!” Starlight called out, making herself as small as possible. As soon as the words left her mouth, chaos erupted in the street. It was an ambush. The Gryphons were now unleashing hell onto the unprepared Equestrian soldiers. There was a scream from somewhere, and bullets pinged off the armored vehicles. Suddenly, Starlight felt a hot flash of pain as a bullet grazed her flank, slicing open her khaki fatigues, and the flesh beneath. She got up, and continued to fire her weapon alongside MorningDew. Dew’s LMG was LOUD, and before long, their ears were ringing from the nonstop noise, and their vision was clouded with gunsmoke, and dust. The air was thick with the smell of burned gunpowder, sweat, and Starlight realized, blood. One of the APCs is hit n the side by a rocket, and bursts into flame. The screams of the ponies burning to death inside adds to the cacophony of the battle. Already, somepony had called in danger close artillery strikes. The ground shook with every concussion as the 105’ rounds landed close enough to knock Starlight back on her flanks as the suffocating heat washed over her. She looked over to her right, and saw MorningDew laying motionless in a pool of blood. She looked back towards the vehicles, and saw somepony yelling at her, and beckoning her over. as if in slow motion, she stood up. Taking the handle of Dew’s saddle in her mouth, she began dragging the injured (or dead, she wasn't sure) mare back to safety. Two other soldiers ran up, and assisted her, taking over. Starlight looked down at Dew, and realized she had left a long trail of blood as Starlight had dragged her. “Oh F*** me!” she cried. The last thing she remembered was a deafening explosion, and searing pain across her entire left side. Part one (chapter 1, watevs) censored out the fowl language. This story takes place in Equestria, in an alternate universe. The Gryphons have invaded Equestria, intent on taking it over! Celestia formed an Equestrian Army to combat this invading force. She also created an airforce. Technology has advanced since the Gryphons invaded and now, as well as serving as fighters and ground support, pagasi serve alongside Earth Ponies and Pegasi in the Equestrian 3rd Airborne. These elite soldiers jump out of planes, a new invention made to carry ponies into the air. The Earth ponies and Unicorns use parachutes to slow their descent, and pegasi use their wings. I just had to do it XD it pisses me off so much when the Humans come on the MLP gmod servers and kill everyone. That was my motivation for writing this.

I was looking over posts and I got some inspiration to start writing a fanfic. I realized that I'd already thought up most of the valuable information! This fanfic takes place after Equestria Girls (Not in the Human world) And is a sort of "What might have happened if-" type deal. So season 4 never happened in this alternate universe. Yes, this fanfic will include shipping (Don't worry, no sex) between AJ, and RD. And some of the mane characters from MLP may die, please don't hate me for that, it'd just be more realistic. Spoiler alert if you haven't seen the S2 finale, Equestria Girls, or Season 3. ________________________________ Prologue For years Equestria had been at peace. No army had been able to stand up to the Elements of Harmony, or the Alicorn magic that Celestia and Luna possessed, and used to raise the sun and the moon. Unfortunately, this peace would soon be over, ushering in a new age of warfare. After Twilight Sparkle came back to Equestria through the portal, the beings of the other world, the Humans, learned of Equestria from Sunset Shimmer, who secretly sought revenge on Twilight and her friends. Upon learning that this land contained vast amounts of precious stones, gems, and this ultimate weapon, the Elements of Harmony, the Humans secretly prepared their army to invade this world. The Crystal empire, being the location of the portal, was crushed in a matter of hours. The city destroyed, and the population enslaved, and studied. Princess Cadence was badly wounded in the battle, and taken prisoner by the Humans. Shining Armor, Princess Twilight’s older brother, and Cadence’s prince was killed in the fighting, leaving the crystal ponies leaderless, and confused, leading to their deffeat. The Humans, using Cadence’s magic, manage to enlarge the portal, allowing bigger and more powerful machines and technology to pass through. The next day, the WonderBolts were sent in, to engage this new threat, the massive steel flying machines the Humans were now using to harass, and destroy the area surrounding the crystal empire even more than before. In the battle that followed, the WonderBolts were butchered by the superior force, all three were killed, with only a single Human aircraft brought down. With their only air combat force now lost, it seemed to be the end for Equestria. However, upon examining the wreckage of the Human plane, they discovered firearms, the reason these Humans were so devastating. Almost instantly, this new technology was put into production, the factories that once produced rain, and snow in Cloudsdale now switching their focus to mass producing these new weapons, and their ammunition. Early versions were issued to the Wonderbolt Reserves, who now without their leaders, and role models were lead by the pegasus named Rainbow Dash. The Humans had now destroyed the rails north of Canterlot, slowing supplies. The reserves were rushed into combat without much training in the new system, which had many flaws. But, although disheartened, with the leadership of Rainbow Dash, the reserves successfully gained air superiority in most of Equestria. Princess Celestia, knowing the reserves wouldn’t be enough, created an Equestrian Royal Army (ERA), filling its ranks with the Earth ponies, and Unicorns, those who had no wings. The first clash between the newly formed ERA and the Humans ended in massive casualties on both sides, but resulted in an Equestrian victory, as a result of their air superiority, and sheer numbers. The Humans realized this wasn’t going to be easy, and called for reinforcements, and more advanced military technology. As an added result to this first battle, many firearms were gathered from the Human KIA, and studied. the ERA reproduced these weapons to be used by ponies, creating special mounts to help the Earth ponies and Unicorns wield them in battle. As the more advanced Human technology was sent through the portal, the Equestrian technology was also advancing rapidly, new improvements were being made to their weapons systems all the time. In addition to the new guns, the wonderbolt reserves, now renamed the Equestrian Royal Air Force (ERAF) were given weapons racks with rocket pods, and bomb racks in some cases. The ERAF pegasi were also given breathing equipment, helping them fly higher than before, as well as early G-suits to protect them from the massive G forces put on their bodies. The Humans originally believed the weapons facilities to be located in Manehattan, and as a result, most of their military action was concentrated in that area, beginning the battle of Manehattan, a battle which claimed the lives of thousands, on both sides, including many civilian casualties on the Equestrian side. Outraged by this, Princess Celestia ordered massive strikes on the Human stronghold in the Crystal empire, costing the lives of many pegasi, and barely bringing the number of Humans down. The war continues to go on one year later, and neither side shows any sign of backing down or giving up.

First off, I think this is a great idea. Humans always come on the MLP Gmod servers and fuck everypony else over. It pisses me off. Second of all, AJ would need to be a badass (She's best pony) With like, a lever action cowboy rifle, and a revolver she maybe got from the Humans, and learned to use. As for the Humans being, well, 'Humanized....' I don't think that would work, as I don't see much reason to invade Equestria XD Except they have a metric ****load of gems and precious stones... As for how they would invade, they could use the portal from Equestria Girls (Some ponies may disagree with this) I'd love to see Celestia (Without powers of course) Put together an army to defend the country, and have several mane characters 'drafted' and Dash, along with the other wonderbolt reserves rushed into combat. You'd of course have to kill off a few, t make it a bit more emotional. (Just don't kill off AJ, AND Dash.if you wanna kill one, just make sure the other stays alive to feel the grief.) The wonderbolts would go in first, and be killed by the Humans with their technology. then they would steal Human technology,and mount, say, machineguns on the Pegasi. that would be epic. So ya ^^ I might write a fanfic like this too...
