    Honestly, I love Fallout 3 as much as the next guy, but I really don't think it's as good as people say it is...

      I think the nostalgia goggles are real with how the gaming community perceives Fallout 3. Fallout 3 is honestly kind of a mediocre game in retrospect. It was incomplete, buggy, short, and the story was pretty lackluster to say the least. Also it really lacked in the gameplay department even in ways Fallout New Vegas (that used the same engine) didn't.

       

      New Vegas is simply better in every single possible way, even DLC where NV didn't particularly shine.

      Same here, Fallout 3 is nice but it's not my favorite, and I consider Fallout 4 to be the best of the franchise.
