That feeling when you are working on finding reliable sources that explain and distinguish the difference between ius civile and ius gestium.
-
That moment when you are going to reply to a thread but your computer decides to delete everything you have written when you space between the lines.
Computer: "You are not allowed to space between the lines. Everything must be in a one single line!!!"

Saw Blackpanther the other day. It was a really good movie. The ending was pretty badly done in my opinion, but I think the rest of the movie before the ending makes up for that.
I recommend giving it a watch.

You're gonna need it.

Been a fan of all the EG movies. This newest one though got to admit. It felt a bit weak. Was still enjoyable. I like they did new stuff in it like finally turn a page instead of opening a book to a section that you want to open it up to

Not being political, just stating a humorous observation.
From reading a lot of speeches from Cicero himself and reading a lot about what other contemporary historians thought about him, I notice a lot of similarities between him and Trump
I have not read enough though to be able to really say if they are kinda like twins or not.
Luckily for the Roman Republic, Cicero did not have Twitter.

Saw the Darkest Hour the other day. I actually thought it was pretty good. There were some unnecessary scenes from time to time obviously meant as fillers or meant to lighten the mood and make things look silly, but that was not too bad.
I definitely recommend the movie. It did not come off as propagandized to me.
Not a fan of you Churchill (great people rivalry thing I have with my own father ), but no one smokes as many cigars and drinks as much alcohol as well as you did old Winny

How do you think Sargon's 'liberalist' experiment will go?
-
That all depends on him. I have to agree with Jim that the name seems cringy as fuck. At least for the UK. Over there liberal still tends to mean liberal, unlike in the States.
He was saying that he feels forced into doing it, so that poses a problem. You have to really want to do shit like this if you want it to be successful.
That being said, if he does put in the necessary work, and ups his energy when doing public speaking (getting people hyped and whatnot) then with his platform he would likely be able to get a decent sized moment going in the UK.
-
Considering that he seems to be the main pillar behind this whole thing, that statement rings true, can't succeed very well unless you really want to do this. I am with you that the name does sound kinda cringy and for myself, I am unsure of what impact it could ever have in the US, but I think it stands the 'possibility' of doing something in Europe, or at least in the UK.

Just.... HNNNNGGGGG
I've been waiting for this!
I also love the other one, Thrones of Britannia. Finally, the Vikings are getting more of a due, but this far more fascinating to me. Love the Eastern Asian theme. Why I loved Total War: Shogun 2
