Once upon a time, I was fighting against depression. And I don't mean sadness, I mean real depression. I was suicidal. I honestly thought no one would care if I suddenly died one day. I'd just disappear, and the world would move on as if nothing ever happened.

Thankfully, I got better. 
Eventually, I conquered my demons. I no longer wish to end my life. I want to live every moment to the fullest. I won't take the gift of my life for granted ever again.

When I hear songs like "Live Life", I am reminded of what I went through. If I didn't find the inner strength to never give up, to keep living life no matter what, then I wouldn't be here right now. There are times I wish I could play that song for those who are going through depression right now. I'd love to be able to connect to those who are lost in despair, show them that all hope is not lost, and prove to them that life is worth living. I cannot always connect to those people; I've tried and failed. People who are depressed have to find their own happiness in life. Still, if I could impart one message on their hearts, I would tell them to never give up and keep living. To live life.
