  1. It's time once again for this week's reference game, my crowd! Ready to eat some Cheerios? Personally, I prefer Spaghettios. If you say "Oh" three times, does that mean you just said a bunch of Oh's? If two O's pushed together makes the Infinity Symbol, then what do three O's pushed together make?
Have I confused you yet? Guess that means I've earned a Core Medal for my inside jokes. Oh, and if you're gonna leave because of all these jokes, be sure to take tomorrow's underpants with you!

Der Schnittpunkt von zwei Wünschen. Eine Leistung von zwei Wünschen. TIME JUDGED ALL! (TaJaDor... TaJaDor...)

You'll find desire wherever you choose to look. Make enough of it yours and your wish might just come true.
We're all so enraptured by it that we find our freedom slips away. But I'll use any means to meet my ends.

I wonder what brought us together...? When I awoke from my slumber...
Should we be talking about that now? No, there is no time. There's A Voice Calling For Us!

Time Judged All! This Moment Intertwines Our Destines. Time Judged All! So Let Us Take To The Skies!
Time Judged All! If Fate Begins To Make Its Move... Time Judged All! Nothing Can Stop It From Running Its Course!

Once we reclaim them, these medals shall take flight once more. That Miraculous Power Now Stands Before You!

Two desires shall clash together. A power shall be born of two wishes.
    TaJaDor! TIME JUDGED ALL!

  3. Hello there, my crowd! Welcome to my Weekly Musings: Red Edition.

Police STOP - Emoticon Point Right Feel free to leave a song request. Your song will eventually be featured in a future Weekly Musings entry! Point Left STOP - Emoticon Police

My internal sense of scheduling is way off, my crowd. I completely forgot to post yesterday and Sunday. 2030003.gif ...You may punish me however you want. But first, let's review the previous week, shall we?

bmc.png.dead4df5641294b1d1c51b1da6cdaeeb.png I can't say I have much excuse for my preoccupation. For the most part, I've been free here and there. However, I've also been trying to fit in as much fun activities as I can. I have a lot of Christmas gifts to enjoy and a lot of changes it prepare for behind the scenes. :derp: Although...

cel.png.932df6a068796c2120797b896cfae033.png MOVIE TIME! icon?1379626399 I recently saw GODZILLA MINUS ONE. I was lucky enough to see this in theaters while I still could, and because of that, I won't go into spoilers. All I will say is Japan proves once again that they are truly the masters of making a good Godzilla movie. You almost forget why it's called Minus One unless you remember a certain line in the trailers, but that doesn't change the fact that this is a cinematic masterpiece. Never have I seen a Japanese movie put forth this level of production and polish. The recreation of a post WWII Japan is next level. The acting is superb. The story is heart-wrenching. I was happy with Shin Godzilla, but that was nothing compared to this. It was so good, there were only one or two momentary shots where I was aware that Goji is CGI. He really is THAT realistic-looking. A dub was not made for this, but I'm okay with that. Since this is a period-piece, it makes seeing it in Japanese a little more authentic. If they ever do make an English Dub for the home release or streaming, I'll be happy to rewatch just for that. Still, this movie is a masterpiece in any language.

bmc.png.dead4df5641294b1d1c51b1da6cdaeeb.png Sonic Prime Season 3: What You've All Been Running For! 32x32.png This season is the grand finale, and it's wonderful. Now it might not be the conclusion you necessarily want. We don't get to show the full range of Chaos Emerald powers (including Super forms), a number of Sonic characters are missing, and this season stagnates on one location for the majority of the run. However, there are so many good things about it. I didn't think I'd say this, but it's great that we get see a more vulnerable side to Sonic, at least as vulnerable as Sega will allow. There are character moments a plenty. The way Sonic finally breaks through to Nine is not how I would have written it, but they at least hinted at how they would settle things. I doubt there will be more after this, but I would be open to more. I want to see if the other realities still exist. I want to see if we'd get more Sonic characters. I want to see if we return to a regular Sonic story. But I am more than happy for this to be the conclusion. It just fits.

cel.png.932df6a068796c2120797b896cfae033.png And now, my thoughts on Sonic Prime in its entirety... :darling: What good this show does overshadows the negative. Like I said, we won't see super forms here. Silver, Blaze, Chaotix, and many more are missing. The expansive world of Sonic is missing. At one point, it was rumored that Prime Sonic might meet other iterations of Sonic (SatAM Sonic, X Sonic, Underground Sonic, etc.), but they never went there. Possibly for legal reasons. However, we get so much more out of this show. We get a Sonic that goes on a journey of real self-discovery. We get amazing character moments from Shadow. We get a story that could fit in with any canon Sonic event (and yes, this story was WAY better than Forces). And while some may call the ending a cliffhanger, I call it a return to normality for the main characters. I am more than willing to accept more seasons, but as far as I can tell, this is it. ...The only thing I was left to wonder about was, do these characters EVER get tired?!

bmc.png.dead4df5641294b1d1c51b1da6cdaeeb.png Sadly, it has begun...  Those in the anime world will know that there has been rumors of people using AI to translate manga for quicker, faster translations and for the purpose of hiring less people. It's something we should all be afraid of because, without a human to quality-control the translation, we are doomed to any kind of mistranslations or completely made-up non-translations. Well it has happened to tokusatsu. I am happy Garo: Heir to Steel Armor has released it's first episode on YouTube. However, I cannot recommend it to anyone. The translation is AI generated. Other translators have confirmed it is rough and not completely accurate. The only way I could possibly watch this is with the help of a fansub group cleaning up the translation, if not starting over from scratch. I hate that this is the world we live in and how it is affecting the progress tokusatsu has made internationally after all these years. I can only hope that we as consumers will rise up enough to make companies realize that we don't want this.

cel.png.932df6a068796c2120797b896cfae033.png King-Ohger 43: Evil Gods & Crazy Kings! R9NrtBD.png All right, I'll admit, this episode really justified itself. I wasn't sure if I wanted Racles to continue being around, but we got plenty of it. We got to see how the Hastee family ended up where it is. We got to see how Gira became an orphan. We got to see the previous King's final, inspiring battle. And for Gira's sake, I am glad he got his wish, to finally reach and connect with the brother he always knew from childhood. However, Dugded is back. Seems he can reincarnate. Just how crafty is an all-seeing god? Is it true that no secrets said out loud get past him? Can he find a way to cheat that immortal-slaying power the King-Ohgers have now? We shall see.

bmc.png.dead4df5641294b1d1c51b1da6cdaeeb.png Gotchard 17: Mix Before Curing.? W110H8u.png I am happy to have movies that are canon to the shows, but this is exactly what I was afraid of. The show referenced the events of the crossover movie with Geats, as such, it feels like we are missing out on a huge chunk of story. It's not out yet, so it has no translation. This makes it a little harder to follow along to the point where you almost forget about the episode's plot. For now, it seems the Sisters are up to their old tricks. It's Dread round 2 with a new mind controlled victim. And while the show is trying to make the new orange Gotchard seem ominous, I can't help but see him as nothing short of helpful. More please!

That's it for now, my crowd. B) Take care, and stick to the plan.

    Tokusatsu Music Highlight:
"ShinkenRed, Ippitsu Soujou" (ShinkenRed, Imperial Report) by Young Fresh and Shinken Red/Takeru Shiba from SHINKENGER.

    d006_0_.jpg

As someone once said, a lord doesn't sing, he has his people to sing for him. :mlp_icwudt: Takeru/Shinken Red is the leader of the Shinkengers and a samurai warlord, so it's totally canon that he'd have others sing his character theme while Takeru himself only says iconic lines from the show. Super Sentai always has that one vocal song on the soundtrack sung by a childhood choir. As far as I know, this is the first time one was used in a character's personal theme song, but trust me, this is way more tolerable. The average children's choir song is typically used for educational or nursery rhyme-style songs.

And you know, some might say that if you are truly a beloved hero, you wouldn't need to sing your own praises anyways.~

Could it be? I actually posted on time?! 1950857.gif Let's talk, my crowd.

bmc.png.dead4df5641294b1d1c51b1da6cdaeeb.png This week, not much happened. My mother got sick, and I am struggling to think of some good gift ideas. :sunny: I have found the generic gifts should not be something to avoid. Depending on who you are giving a gift to, generic gifts might actually be completely welcomed! However, even with open-minded people, there seems to be a sweet spot between personal and too generic. It's stuff that's generic yet charming. If there is no personality to what you gave, it'll come off as if you didn't put any effort into it at all. Like getting a solid color t-shirt with no graphic or anything special about it at all. Even I'd appreciate that, but you have to admit, there's really no thought necessary behind a gift like that.

cel.png.932df6a068796c2120797b896cfae033.png Saw a trailer, at least. :rarityhat: Godzilla x Kong shows us a team-up we never expected. Also, Goji got a kid once, now it's Kong's turn. There are SO many other things I would love to talk about. Announcements and spoilers that I am just dying to share. However, I always save my thoughts until we have a trailer at least. But hopefully, more trailers are on their way!

bmc.png.dead4df5641294b1d1c51b1da6cdaeeb.png Gotchard 12: Unravel Everything! W110H8u.png I didn't think Gotchard had it in them, but here we are. It feels like this is the real reason Gotchard was taking its time, for this moment right here. The spy helping the sisters gets rewarded with a rather quick death. Sabi is forced to turn into an evil Kamen Rider and fight against his own will. However, the biggest, jaw-dropping thing about this episode is the savage beating that Gotchard gets. It's been a long time since we've seen something that merciless. Even the aftermath shakes our heroes to the core. Speaking of aftermath, Spanner need to shut his no-good trap. He has no right to lecture everyone else. He didn't exactly score a victory either. If anything, Gotchard fought way harder than he did. And I thought Spanner was suppose to be an alchemy prodigy. But I must say, props for how the fight ended. They could have easily just given Gotchard a new form there, but no, they are going to make us earn it. Either way, the happy-go-lucky show that we THOUGHT we were watching has just unraveled before out eyes.

cel.png.932df6a068796c2120797b896cfae033.png Gotchard VS Legend 02: Treasure To Stay Buried. W110H8u.png The only good thing I can say is that I don't hate this gold Rider, and I was expecting to. I was expecting him to be secretly evil, but that doesn't seem to have happened. ... For now. In fact, that's all I can say about this 2-part special. It ends here, for now. Ultimately, it was an unnecessary waste of time. I do wonder if we'll see Legend again. I wonder if it was necessary this soon into the Reiwa era to reinvent Decade/Zi-O. I wonder if there is a deeper story yet to unfold from all this. I wonder if Gotchard even remembers his time with Legend. For now, if anyone is interested, I can easily say that this special is easily skipped. And the only reason why Gotchard isn't "gorgeous" yet is because his story hasn't fully been told yet; which is the only advantage his predecessors have.

bmc.png.dead4df5641294b1d1c51b1da6cdaeeb.png King-Ohger 38: No Justice In Shame? R9NrtBD.png I just feel bad for the Purple Ohger in this episode. She's trying to do a simple undercover operation, and all her idiot friends keep injecting their own narrative based on (most likely) falsified clues. Even her most trusted second didn't fully figure it out, which is a shame, because I was really hoping that she would understand at least. Still, we got to see her without the mask and we got to see her full range of acting on display here, and it was all glorious. However, since there was no splash screen at the end, I can't tell if she has fully reclaimed her kingdom or not. It feels like it has, but a new mystery has appeared.

That's all for now, my crowd. B) Take care, and limber up.

This was released earlier in late November. I've held off for now, but it's December, which means it's finally time to listen and share! That's right, the creator of The Duck Song is back at it again after all this this. This is "The Christmas Duck Song" by Bryant Oden (forrestfire101).

    "Ultraman 80" by TALIZMAN.

    8f3d1a6e988b74f1fae689948a581d72.jpg

He almost came to ALL of us from a star. :mlp_icwudt:
From what I understand, this Ultra was not positively received at the time. Most say it was a shift in trends, I think it was the design of the suit. The red scalp somehow really makes this Ultra look more human than others. What's really weird is that, at one time, this show was almost dubbed for American audiences. Yes, it's true! They even had Adam West of Batman fame slated to be the lead role. It never came to be, and the pilot that was produced has been completely lost and never leaked anywhere. Imagine, in another reality, Adam West could have been the voice of a Japanese superhero...

AND SINCE WE LOST TWO DAYS WITH THE FORUM BEING DOWN, AND ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER REASON, HERE'S ANOTHER SONG!!

    "Ultraman Dyna" by Tatsuya Maeda.

    2f93202b-b77a-448d-820f-c3aa3580c1b6.jpg

    Dynamite not included. :mlp_icwudt:
We now come back around once more to the modern era. That's right, all the classic era Ultra themes are covered! ...Well, except for any movie-exclusive Ultras, but that's a different story. If you're thinking of getting into it; remember that this series is a direct sequel to Ultraman Tiga. Crossovers are common place, but it's rare when an Ultra series is a direct sequel to one that came before. But it was such a popular move that Tsuburaya still celebrates it even now.

    Take care, my crowd. B)

  11. You are still missed, my friend. But if you ever do come back, I hope you see this...

164889.gif May clear skies and a radiant sun pave the way for a better future for you all, my crowd. Ready for another end-of-the-week round up?

d9o4237-042b9f7a-93ba-4943-950e-fc08fc59 The big thing that happened to me personally this week was... Second trip to the doctors! :ButtercupLaugh: The first trip was to see a doctor, tell him my problems, and get a plan set in motion. The second trip was to actually get an operation done. And by operation, I mean an abdominal scan (ultrasound), and get some blood drawn for laboratory examination. When I go back to see my main doctor again next week, he'll tell me what the lab results yielded. I am hopeful, but realistic. The pain in my side has not fully dissipated, despite taking medicine. Perhaps there is another issue at large. As long as it can be taken care of via medicines, I will be glad. I really want this next coming visit to be the last.

d9o43j8-ff6991ab-9ee0-46fd-85ad-6366e0fc In other news, something great has finally happened for my mother. The house next door to her has been unoccupied for a long time, and the people who bought the house have not been there for a long time either. They bought the house with plans to flip it and sell it, but they've been busy tackling a bunch of other houses first. Well now, they are FINALLY getting to the one next door to my mother. They've all ready made great headway by mowing the lawns and clearing out most of the obstacles. They say that they'll be renovating the exterior because the weather's been rather cool lately, but I think it's because they know the interior is extremely filthy...

d9o4237-042b9f7a-93ba-4943-950e-fc08fc59 Been trying to figure out what I should do with my newly acquired Livejournal account.  These weekly updates would give me the most content, I suppose. However, I don't think anyone wants to go to Livejournal to read that. So maybe I should use it to archive my history and knowledge of Tokusatsu fansubs and official subs? That doesn't seem like it would give me very much to work with, unless I split up all my knowledge into tons of entries. I guess if I never make an audio podcast, I could put all my material on Livejournal instead... Suggestions? Anyone?

d9o43j8-ff6991ab-9ee0-46fd-85ad-6366e0fc All right, let's look at the next 5 AR worlds that Decade traveled to and see how they compare to the original show!

    • FAIZ'S WORLD: I guess this would give us a rough idea of what might have happened Smart Brain has just legally bought out the Ryusei School instead of implemented a secret attack on it. However, in the original show, the backstory around the Ryusei school was kind of a big reveal midway through the series, and I hate when AR Worlds give away major spoilers like this. The original Takumi was not a simp like this one is. If these two episodes could have moved away from the school, or have the Lucky Clover gang be street thugs instead of the popular clique, then I would have rated this in higher regard. However, these episodes give the wrong impression of the original show, so it fails. X
    • AGITO'S WORLD: I feel insulted. While this version of Agito may have narrowed down the number of characters, I can forgive making Shouichi both Gills and Agito, since the original show was about humans reaching a new evolution. However, the original Agito was NOT romantically linked to the commander of the G3 team. Thanks for reducing the AR version of Hikawa to a cowardly cameo that quickly runs away when he can't hack it... The original show touched on themes of family, belonging, gods at war, human evolution, etc. Of all the things to cover, they chose one. Failure. X
    • DEN-O'S WORD: Since time travel and multiverse travel tend to be synonymous, it can be hard to tell if this really is an AR version of Den-O or the original version. But the canon details seem to tell me it's an AR version, so let's go with that. Regardless, it's the same cast, same acting, and absolutely no creative changes other than Ryuta and Hana being stuck as kids. Success! ✔️
    • KABUTO'S WORLD: Finally, I can breathe a sigh of relief. While these episodes also gave away one spoiler from the show, they managed to correctly capture the themes and spirit of the original show. There is also a continuity error that makes you wonder if AR Kabuto really is stuck in Clock-Up or not, but this version of Kabuto was so good, I wouldn't mind if this was the TV show instead. Either way, success! ✔️
    • HIBIKI'S WORLD: This one really skirts the line. If you know anything about the original Hibiki show, you know that the change in production staff members really hurt the artistic integrity. It lead to a grudge behind the scenes, and you can feel that grudge in full-effect here. The Oni Riders were never divided this badly against each other, and Asumu never became an Oni. However, many fans of the original show wanted to see Asumu become the next Hibiki anyways, the Great Oni War is a nice call back to the Hibiki movie, and the main Rider turning into a monster does give a subtle nod to something in the original series. In that show, they said that when you become an Oni Rider, you live and die that way. Here, they made it extremely literal, but you could argue that this is what happens when you follow the path of a demon. Tough call, but I'll be generous and call it a success! ✔️

That's all 9 AR Worlds, but I'm not done with Decade just yet. I've got to finish the series, and watch the movies. So next time, I'll talk about the Bonus AR Worlds! There will be some judgments, but not as many.

d9o4237-042b9f7a-93ba-4943-950e-fc08fc59 Transformers Cyberverse 325: The Matrix of Following? d96wi0o-9e50ffbf-88cb-40e7-893c-591e143e It starts off with a recap of how Megatron got his Matrix as well as his weird dark eye. Honestly, I expected something different. At the very least, I expected the eye to be a result of merging with a Matrix that didn’t choose him, but I guess battle damage works. Still, there’s just something intense about a stealth mission, and then powering through even when you get caught! And now we’ve got strange looking robots with faces that remind me of the Decepticon symbol.

d9o43j8-ff6991ab-9ee0-46fd-85ad-6366e0fc Saber 02: Wash ‘em Out! daj17bm-76115871-5676-4c80-b092-68abe8a1 Once again, this episode was also a huge mess of CGI. However, I am a little more lenient. Like I said before, CGI should be used to create effects that are simply impossible to do in a practical way. Slowly turning an entire city into the burned pages of a book is one example. I suppose they could have made a model of the city, like what Super Sentai has done for their giant robot battles. Still, it would require a lot of computer-generated effects, transposing, and maybe some green screen to make it work. Either way, it might end up looking artificial. So I guess I don’t mind the abundance of CGI here, I just wish it didn’t look like an unfinished test sequence. You know, the mock-up CGI that is made for a Hollywood movie before they polish it up and make it look as real as possible. I suppose the childhood demographic won’t care. As for the story, I had an easier time following it, and it’s nice to see two Riders instantly getting along for a change.

d9o4237-042b9f7a-93ba-4943-950e-fc08fc59 Kiramager 23: Jewelry Smile! db6u4gy-69324d99-7420-4441-8d1e-c1edb4a3 Amazing how Super Sentai ends up being the less CGI dependent series all of a sudden. Anyways, it seems I was wrong. I thought the Queen returning was because the Kiramagers altered history in the previous episode. Seems that the Queen was always able to store her soul away in her crown jewel, so maybe not much was changed after all. Still, this was a nice episode for Mabusheena and how far she has come. That song of hers was actually very heart warming. I love whenever a Super Sentai season makes one or more of its extra songs as part of the show’s canon, and they did it here. I wish we could have seen the Queen fully restored, but I’m sure that reunion will come later.

That's all for now, my crowd. B) Take care, and make the most of your life's story.

Since this is the Orange Edition, that means we end with an interesting video. If you're a fan of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, this video will be right up your ally. If you've never seen the show, you might still find this funny. And don't worry about spoilers, because despite being hilariously accurate, the creator of this video has never seen the anime either. This is "Jojo's Strange Escapade" by Sr Pelo.

It was the Kamen Rider Fourze TV show opening theme, "Switch On!".

If you're looking for something friendship-related to watch/talk about now that G4 is over, if you like superheroes, and you don't mind shows like Power Rangers; then consider giving Kamen Rider Fourze a chance! You'll make friendships that will last forever, you'll make memories that will have a warm place in your heart, and you might just save the universe! :yay:

Also, probably won't be doing the reference game next week because Christmas. Might pick it up again the week after. We'll see.

Boo~! Did I scare ya? 352843.gif The haunting hour is so close, my crowd! But first, let's review the week that's gone by.

sun.png.8ab21d7000bfb88f283da8c5e2f104cc.png The biggest thing, I will dedicate to the saddest thing. There is someone I use to know growing up in my childhood years. She was a friend of my mother's mostly, so I can't say I fully knew her on a personal level, but she was nice to me. She gave me gifts, kindness, and allowed me some happy memories that I'll keep with me forever. She passed away recently. Unfortunately, because of my busy work schedule, I won't be able to go to her funeral. Still, I was able to sign the guest book, leave a rose at her coffin, and say goodbye. It's a sad goodbye, but there is no such thing as a painless passing.

twi.png.f9a8f7839a12a89136cd0641ade8efb0.png The second biggest thing to happen was that I managed to get a haircut and some new shirts. I should be excited, but... One of my shirts shrank WAY more than it should have! :BornAgainBrony: I don't understand. It's a mix of cotton and polyester. Shirts like that aren't known for shrinking. Let's hope the other one will be okay.

sun.png.8ab21d7000bfb88f283da8c5e2f104cc.png Mostly, this was a HUGE week for Tokusatsu news! Kamen Rider Black Sun (which is a series, not a movie) premiered on Amazon Prime JP. The original series, much to everyone surprise, is getting an official release thanks to Discotek Media instead of Shout Factory! Competition, here we come. And finally, there are 2 movies about to happen. A Hurricaneger 20th Anniversary movie, and an AbaRanger 20th Anniversary movie. I am hoping the former will be better than the 10th Anniversary movie at least, and I'm ALL on board for the latter! :kirin: Let the rampage of hype begin!!

twi.png.f9a8f7839a12a89136cd0641ade8efb0.png Doctor Who is bringing back David Tennant for a short while, just to pass the torch to real actor replacing Jodie. I am optimistic yet cautious about this. There's going to be a Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, with the cast from MCU. That sounds HILARIOUS! I am on board. :ButtercupLaugh: The newest Sonic Prime trailer is pure fire! And I learned we are getting a sequel to Man Of Steel with Henry Cavill! Long story short, some things have changed behind the scenes at WB, for the better I might add. It was previously hopeless that were were getting more, and now it's happening! Even Dwayne The Rock Johnson helped make this happen! So cool. Makes me think there is a ray of hope for other things under the WB umbrella.

sun.png.8ab21d7000bfb88f283da8c5e2f104cc.png DonBrothers 34: A Painful Threemore! osnb5Gt.png On the one hand, I am a little sad to see Sonoi's personality change was dropped so easily, thanks to food no less. I was kind of enjoying the dynamic change with him acting like Don Momotaro. There's also lots of little things that make this episode better; the fact that Don Dragoku/Torabolt is still in pain from the last fight, the fact that Momotaro and the Donbura Owner aren't being completely honest, etc. The fact that the MOTW is based on DekaRanger means nothing, once again. But the real draw is the drama and the unexpected twist at the end of the episode. I was sad to see Kiji Brother's decent into evil end so shortly, and yet, here we are again~! He sold his friend up the river, all for Miho. And just who is Miho? Is she really Natsumi, a copy, or something else? Things are quickly not adding up, but I am loving these new story developments.

twi.png.f9a8f7839a12a89136cd0641ade8efb0.png Geats 08: Vanish the Ninja! ypGkU4g.png There is something awesome about seeing an evolved Kamen Rider Tycoon, even if it felt like watching a candle flicker wildly before going out. I don't fully understand why some citizens disappear permanently after a Jamato attack and why some don't. I am sure it was explained in one of the rules, but for now, it just seems random. I hate to see Tycoon go just as soon as we saw him at his best; hopefully he'll return in a future episode? Or maybe his sister instead? But let's talk about Ace's speech... He didn't have to make that specific speech, and yet Kamen Rider tends to do stuff like this, blurring the line between what is truly selfless and what is truly selfish. Ace/Geats wasn't wrong, but there is still something strange about calling the most selfless guy in the room selfish. Still in another subversion of expectations, Tycoon got his wish. In the end, they all worked together, even if it wasn't intentional. ...And don't think I missed that coin scene.

sun.png.8ab21d7000bfb88f283da8c5e2f104cc.png MLP TYT 33: Pipp & The Giant Pumpkin! :mlp_icwudt: I've seen others say how this episode is kind of scary. I don't scare so easily, but I get it, I can totally see why people would say that. Still, outside of the scary bits, this episode is actually REALLY solid! It could easily count as either a Halloween-themed episode or a Thanksgiving-themed episode since they mostly focus on the fall element. Zipp also confronted her sister about relying too much on social media in MYM Ch. 2, but this was done differently, and the way they had the two sisters reconcile was nice. About the only critique I could give is how none of Pipp's friends noticed she was missing. Maybe that's forgivable since this is suppose to be a comedy.

That's all for now, my crowd. B) Take care, and get ready for tricks and treats.

I have other videos in store, but this one popped up last minute, and it was just too funny not to share. The timing couldn't be more perfect! It's hilariously amazing what AI can make. This is "The First Horror Movie Written Entirely By Bots" by Netflix Is A Joke.

Easy come, easy go? Let's talk about, my crowd. 369114.png

sun.png.8ab21d7000bfb88f283da8c5e2f104cc.png I suppose the biggest thing was that my cousin came back into town for a while! :yay: It was both a happy moment, and a sad moment. His visit was only 3 days long. We really tried to convince him to stay, and he did really consider it, but it seems it wasn't enough. Hopefully we'll see him again for either Thanksgiving or Christmas.

twi.png.f9a8f7839a12a89136cd0641ade8efb0.png By some miracle, I got to experience Sonic Frontiers! THIS GAME IS SO AWESOME!! But the story... Ian's a mad genius. It almost makes me sad to see what the Japanese version of the story will be. And yes, I can confirm, the script was changed for the Japanese audience. I am just waiting on a full translation right now. In sad news, Kevin Conroy died. He lost his battle to cancer. There goes the best Batman actor ever. :( I hope the example his version of Batman has set will be an eternal remind to other writers what Batman is at his best.

sun.png.8ab21d7000bfb88f283da8c5e2f104cc.png NO DONBROS OR GEATS THIS WEEK! osnb5Gt.png ypGkU4g.png The weekly tokusatsu went on hiatus because sports, but it will return next week.

twi.png.f9a8f7839a12a89136cd0641ade8efb0.png Transformers Earthspark 01: A Surprising Spark! nTransformers_-_OptimusPrime2.gif I've heard the complaints. The Nth rehashing of G1 material, changing it to fit this generation, etc. However, I watched  it, and I liked it! The robot designs are growing on me. I like the new characters, for the most part. I like that the war is over and Megatron is working for the good guys now. I even like the voice actor they got for Optimus; he's no Peter Cullen, but he's definitely gunning for best replacement voice actor. About the only character I might not enjoy is the father of the two human kids. Something about his voice and personality isn't clicking for me. I REALLY hope he doesn't end up being the annoying, forced-comic-relief character. Still, I might consider seeing more of this.

sun.png.8ab21d7000bfb88f283da8c5e2f104cc.png Black Sun 01: Wild Timeline? eclipse-icon-32.png I am so confused on how much time has passed. The episode starts with an incident that happened in the past; in 1972. However, Young Kotaro and Nobuhiko seem to be teens/young adults at this time? I suppose it could be the late 80's, but everyone is dressed like they are from the 70's. Wikipedia says the present-day part of this story takes place in 2022, so that means our heroes are over 50 years old. Possibly over 60 or 70. The actor they chose for older Kotaro does indeed look older, but not that old. Not unless he's somehow aging very gracefully. They really need to clear this up. If you're going to specify the year for one segment, do it for the rest. Interesting fact, the original Kamen Rider TV show aired from 1971-1973. The show pretty much confirms this is an alternate universe where none of the other Showa Riders exist, at least not that we know of. Don't think I missed the clever use of a black character in a story addressing racism against kaijins. Seeing the origins of Gorgom here does explain how their possible origins in the original TV show, but Black Sun will always do something to remind you just how different this is. There's drama, build up, and some interesting history bits; but the story doesn't really develop enough to talk about right now.

twi.png.f9a8f7839a12a89136cd0641ade8efb0.png MLP TYT 35: Holidays for Holi-Days! :wau: The cycle is complete. We had Hearts & Hooves Day, Hearth's Warming, Winter Wrap Up, Nightmare Night, and now... Harvest and Hugs Day! Is there no holiday we can't ponify? Eagle-eyed viewers saw the Queen's family in a photo, so extended royal family confirmed? And I guess I should mention Sparky... Yeah, he pretty much caused all the cartoon problems here. I know the fandom hates him, but I never expected the entire mane cast to be troubled by him. I can feel all the Spike haters changing their tunes.

That's all for now, my crowd. B) Take care, and enjoy your health and happiness.

I like capes, for dress and for show. Still, this video bring up some good points. This is "Why Did Men Stop Wearing Capes?" by Real Men Real Style.

    Tokusatsu Music Highlight:
"Dolla! ~Majo Bandora Theme~" (Dora! ~Witch Bandora's Theme~) by the evil Witch Bandora from ZYURANGER.

    Witch-Bandora-Rita-Repulsa.jpg

That's right, earthlings! She will turn the earth into mashed potatoes! :ButtercupLaugh: Before I move on to Rider songs for a while, who says only the heroes get character themes? Just thought I'd share something familiar for this. And you know, as far as evil super villains in Super Sentai go, Bandora is one of the better ones to work for. She'll randomly throw a dance break for her staff (and yes, those are her minions singing "Ooh wow, wow! Ooh wow, wow!" in the background. Furthermore, she is genuinely supportive of her team. So if you can get past all the very evil stuff she does, you just might enjoy working for her!

  24. Hello there, my crowd! Welcome to my Weekly Musings: Red Edition.

    [I ❤ JAPAN] -- [I ❤ THE COLOR RED] -- [I ❤ CELESTIA]

ddaj395-ee623ecf-7b92-425e-9fbe-998a9a07 I seem to be stuck in a very strange feeling, my crowd. On one hand, I don't quite feel like myself. On the other hand, I feel more active than ever! But let's go over everything and you'll understand.

d9o40v7-289c43ef-559f-4e9f-99ed-9e3e398c I went to the doctor on Friday for a follow up. (WARNING to those who are easily grossed out. You may want to skip ahead.) After having blood work drawn and my abdomen scanned, I still didn't feel right. I has been taking medicine, but it didn't completely get rid of the pain in my side, so I wanted to see what the results showed. Turns out my kidney occasionally swells up. Not too much, just a mild swelling, then it goes back down. So now, I'll be having more work done. I am scheduling a CAT scan, more blood work, and a urine test. If that doesn't tell the doctor everything that's happening in my system, then I don't know what to do other than try losing some weight. (It's over. I'm done talking about gross medical stuff.) So as it stands now, I have to get more work down, and then go in for one more follow up. I really hope this is the last of it, because I am getting a little tired of all this. Part of me wishes we had done all this at the beginning, but I am glad the doctor is only ordering stuff on a need-to basis. :yeahno:

d9o42pj-94308d0d-f9cf-40a6-99f6-07bc5780 Sorry everyone, but I won't be talking about Decade this week. I was almost done watching every episode, but I had to stop at the last two. The reason? I have a LiveJournal now! I'm oh so proud of it too. I'll be posting all my thoughts and findings about Tokusatsu on LiveJournal. I have been making blog posts throughout the week, and have recently posted some more entries. Which means, I'll be posting all of my thoughts about Kamen Rider Decade on there too. I've all ready shared some of my thoughts here on these weekly musings, but I want to post them on LiveJournal too, maybe go into a little more detail. I'm calling my various posts about Decade "Back to 10". Get it? Because the show was a 10 year celebration, and I'm revisiting it. (P.S., I'm still taking as much feedback as possible. I am trying to make the blog entries visually stimulating with pictures.)

d9o40v7-289c43ef-559f-4e9f-99ed-9e3e398c Allergy season has begun to hit me really hard...  I am staying active and energetic, as you can see. However, it's not fun when I have to take on more medicines. I like the summer and warm weather seasons, and I appreciate the colder seasons too. It's just those in-between seasons that are hard on me. And with my kidney and digestive system being so sensitive right now, I wonder if all the medicines I am taking for allergies is helping or making my condition worse...

d9o42pj-94308d0d-f9cf-40a6-99f6-07bc5780 My mother recently had some dead branches cut down from the tree in her front lawn. I offered to help her move some of those branches. Yay, manual labor~ I got a new haircut. Once again, my cell phone's prepaid service time has expired, so I need to renew. Still don't understand the point of having minutes I barely use if it's on a timer. Seems to me like service should expire when you run out of minutes. Also, trying out a new facial hair look. It's mostly stubble, though I am keeping my neck clean shaven. It's not a bad look, I just have to groom it constantly so it doesn't grow out too much.

d9o40v7-289c43ef-559f-4e9f-99ed-9e3e398c Transformers Cyberverse 326: 'Trix aren’t for Kids! d96wi0o-9e50ffbf-88cb-40e7-893c-591e143e And here, we have the season finale of Cyberverse. Way to make those all-black recolors of Transformer toys canon! It was a little all over the place, characters popping up suddenly where they probably shouldn’t be, and I’m not talking about those Decepticon soldiers made by alternate universe Megatron! Either way, the crisis is over. Windblade is safe, alt. Megatron is defeated, and the alternate Matrix that trapped her was destroyed. But now I have so many questions... What will happen to the Decepticons now? Is regular Megatron actually dead? Was Astrotrain a double agent this whole time? Is this the last we’ll see of alt. Megatron? I hope we get one more season, but I'll be fine either way.

d9o42pj-94308d0d-f9cf-40a6-99f6-07bc5780 Saber 03: Slaying the Ground Workdaj17bm-76115871-5676-4c80-b092-68abe8a1 Production wise, this is my kind of episode. More on-location filming instead of all CGI. Outside of that, this episode was challenging. We get introduced to two characters that treat our MC in completely opposite ways. One is an old childhood friend who instantly likes him, while the other is grouch that instantly looks down on our MC for being a novelist. The latter is a father, and we get to see him become a heavily armored Kamen Rider. Because his gear is different with only one noticeable slot for a Wonder Ride Book, I get the feeling that he won’t be very strong in the long run. I feel like they might make this character a metaphor. Something about focusing too hard on brute strength is not the only way to grow as a character, maybe? Also, I am surprised to see a father character acting so belligerent, but I also haven’t seen casting like this since Hibiki, so I guess it all evens out.

d9o40v7-289c43ef-559f-4e9f-99ed-9e3e398c Kiramager 24: Rose Quartz in C Majordb6u4gy-69324d99-7420-4441-8d1e-c1edb4a3 Not much to say about this episode. It’s all filler right now, and another chance to show off that extended soundtrack. Does this count as Yellow’s character theme since he sang it, or is it just a bonus song? That would be weird if it was, considering the show told us that a random kid wrote the song, so it should be his song instead. Furthermore, this episode does make me wonder something... The kid only made the base melody. He didn't write the accompanying harmonies, the lyrics, or 90% of the rest of the song. Can he still be considered the original author if a bunch of other people added new things to it, or does it count as an entirely new creation that they all own equally? If only I could contact my Law professor from college...

That's it for now, my crowd. B) Take care, and may the earth aid you in kind.

As much as I like Major/Minor Key Changes, I normally find it very hard to get into Negative Harmony covers. The notes and chords seem to go everywhere, making it the most complex thing to listen to. However, this one is actually easier to listen to and follow along with. I dare say, it still manages to sound somewhat melodic. This is "Negative Harmony Cover - The Sound of Silence" by Steve Cruickshank.
