Bright Bastion

Can't wait to continue~ To be honest I might be moving soon as well as still going through some RL stuff so I'm probably not going to be active for the next week either.

@@Dji,@@Torrent505, Sha put his things in his own bedroom after being shoved into the room and let Vi do all the talking. A tour around the school did seem like the best thing to do before the school's orientation after all. And the opportunity to experience these two people he was sure he was going to be spending a lot of time with seemed appropriate. However when they began the tour his curiosity seem to melt away a little of his nervousness. "I didn't know that there would be an overseer of the dorms, and you're a dual bender? What's that like?"

Sorry Everyone, I had some RL things that SLAMMED me for the past couple of days and I haven't been home.

@@Dji, He frowned behind his suitcase as he saw the teacher gathered in front of his dorm. "I didn't get in trouble already did I?" They left then and Sha looked at Vi. "That and the weird guy with the police makes this place seem sort of suspicious don't you think? Ah, whatever... lets just get to our dorm before I do something else embarrassing..." It seemed to finally dawning on Sha that he was sharing a room with a girl, and that made him even more nervous about this whole experience. He sighed and hoped that she was getting the door.

Bronze tries to smile at the passing ponies and sighed in relief when they had pointed their attention elsewhere. "Uh, everyone? Maybe we should go about this less suspiciously." He eyed Trilby at that. "Maybe we should split up, We'd cover more ground that way, but ..." He raised a brow at Lorec. "You might draw tons of attention..." At Drake's excitement he couldn't help but grin. "You should see the crystal statue of the Spike the Great." He looked back to their leader. "If we do split up and look around though, I call team up with the boss!"

Bronze was saying something about Crazy Eights being easy to learn when the stranger bumped through the train car they were in. When he warned them of the mines Bronze's expression went from happy to worried in a flash, and his ears folded like somepony had tied an anvil to each one. "Wh- What's in the --" He didn't get to finish the thought before the pony erupted into parasprites, he ended up hitting the deck (no pun intended) in a daze as the parasprites found their way out of the train car. He raised from the floor and looked around almost thinking that the pony explosion didn't even happen, but everyone else seemed to have had some sort of reaction to it. Bronze looked at their leader, panic spread across his features.

@@Dji, Sha Lumbered after VI with his suitcase awkwardly in tow. He looked her over with a raised brow and seemed to force himself to ask Vi, "He, uh you're -- well, I'm obviously and earthbender and you're obviously a waterbender... I was wondering if you were one of those benders. You know the special kind..."

Sha gathered up his suitcase in both arms and looked over at Rabten. "If, uh, you got room on that cart i'd be grateful but Vi can take the extra space..." He sounded like he was trying to be manly, but really he was just hoping to shift everyone's attention to somebody else.

Bronze looks at him and smiles. "Sure! I'd love to play. Are we playing Pope Joan? Laugh and Lie Down? Or maybe Losing Lodom? Maw?" He keeps naming off card games that no pony has never heard of before looking around the car and noticing that no one has any idea what he's talking about and adds "Uh, what about ... Crazy EIghts?"

@@Dji,@@SpaceOnion, Sha turns as Vi walks up and puts down his suitcase, extending his hand for a handshake. "I guess that's right. Sha Jiang." As soon as he says that though, an audible click is heard and Sha nearly dives for his suitcase. The suitcase had nearly come bursting open but Sha was just in time to keep it from spraying it's contents everywhere. He forced it back together and snapped the hasp back into place. He sighs with relief before looking back at the other two. "Uh ... It's an old suitcase..." He says sheepishly.

Sha paid the taxi driver and got out of the car. He retrieved his things from the trunk and the taxi drove off on its merry way. He had two over the shoulder suitcases stacking on his left hip and another big suitcase in his right hand. He walked through the courtyard a waved a little hesitantly at Vi before entering the front entrance and finding the receptionist's desk. He waited until most of the students had gone before approaching Mah Kin. "Excuse me, uh. can you tell me where I'm suppose to go?"

Bronze took a seat close to the door. He had a love/hate relationship with trains, they always gave him motion sickness. When trilby sat next to him he was clearly happy for the distraction. "Oh, my cutie mark? I loved that day. My mother had taken me out of the city one day to go exploring around the country side. We ended up wandering into a forest and she helped me climb a really tall tree and we saw everything around for miles, that's when it appeared. We didn't get home till really late and dad was worried sick. But he was so proud when he saw I had my cutie mark." he waved over it with his hoof. "It probably looks a little strange, but the coin on it is what we used for money back a thousand years ago."

@, @@Samurai Equine, Bronze was taken aback by Trilby's sudden outburst. 'Well, yes I suppose that's true, but I don't know if tackling something that might be in the princess' possesion..." He saw that everyone seemed to be on with that idea. "I guess we can figure that out on the way. Oh, speaking of..." He turns to the minotaur and the pegasus. "I'm pretty sure that the train route that goes to the crystal empire runs through Canterlot. You can ride the train if you want." @@Pink Brook, Bronze tries to stop her before she goes too far after that. "That's a horrible Idea. That's gonna get us hunted down by the royal knights." ,@, Bronze nearly jumped at that. "We shouldn't do that either!" He sighed. "Look every po- uh everybody. We don't even know if the Princess really has this weird gem, like I said, the Crystal Empire has lots of gemstones and-- well crystals. Let's just not jump to any conclusions before we're sure. The last thing I want to do is get involved with the knights, so lets just see if we can catch any word about some peculiar gemstones." After he said that he blinked, everyone could clearly feel that he was surprised at his own words.

I don't mind, but can we all handle more people? I mean the more the merrier but adding more people might increase our chances of one of us dipping out later.

Bronze Looks around at everyone before smiling towards the shopkeep. "Maybe we should wait until our pegasus wakes up, besides, we should discuss where we are going first." he looks towards Syuren. "And if he's from Cloudsdale, that would be closest, but that also leaves only him and Aurora that can--" He stopped for a second. "Can Bat ponies stand on clouds like Pegasi can?"

Maestro snapped his attention back to the quest. "Well, I hope not. It'd be kind of hard not to get the princess' involved if Princess Cadence has one. I mean we can't exactly steal it." He tilted his head. "After our thousand year curse was over when the miners went to mine more crystal and there was a bunch of new ores and gems in the mine. But I think I heard a rumor that King Sombra's treasury is still in the ruins of one of the Crystal Empire's old cities..." Bronze tapped his hoof to his muzzle in thought. "Uh, I can't really be sure. I mean do you have any idea how much the Crystal empire deals in gems?"

Hey everyone! I'm slowly getting back into roleplaying and I'm aching to play as my username sake, but I don't feel like joning a thrid RP. So, to compensate I've decided to open an Ask Bright Bastion thread. As this is my character and not necessarily me, the responces will be in character, but not all questions need to be roleplay ones. You can ask about anything you want but I will be giving Bastion's point of view on it. So ask away! Bastion is a low ranking knight in the Equestrian Royal Guard stationed in Canterlot. He's kind and treats anypony with decency. "Uh, Anybody that might contest. Maybe the Alicorn can fly faster than you. He's got some crazy wings!" He then turns to the minotaur as he registers his question for a moment. "Combat Experience." Bronze echoes. "Well, I haven't won any fight I've been in..." Lorec's question obviously struck a nerve as the happy pony turned clammy all of a sudden.
