    It's now been 30 years since the World Wide Web has been started. At first, it was mostly used by scientists to trade informations with each other, before it was even part of the Internet.

    And today, we pretty much use it everyday and is probably one of the most important inventions of our time, just like the Telephone was in the last 19th century.

    If the World Wide Web wasn't invented, none of us would be here. :)

      Here in the UK we had JAnet - the Joint Academic Network. You could get Usenet via there, at 1200 baud :)
