I stopped taking Derpibooru seriously around 2013, which was at a time when they didn't even had a message board. I knew from the very beginning, that a message board there is only trouble and instead wiping out pointless discussion from the pic comments, the admins and mods still allow them.

The staff over there is a joke.

Why can't WWE give the promo-deficient guys some managers like before?

 

You know, like with Lesnar and Heyman.

First off, Paul E. is an Advocate, not a Manager.

I think the WWE dosen't find any need for a Manager. Besides, there aren't any talented Managers out there anymore like in the 70s and 80s. Guys like Bobby Heenan, Jim Cornette, "Classy" Freddie Blessie, the grand wizard of wrestling, etc. don't exist anymore.

Eeyup! A clean victory.

 

And it does feel weird, but more of the good kind, IMO. It's been a while since a top title was won on regular programming. 2011, I think.

Rey Mysterio won it in the Tournament final against The Miz on Raw, when CM Punk left after Money in the Bank 2011 and John Cena won it at the same night, then Punk came and they where both champs which let to their match at Summerslam 2011.

He's always a great heel.

 

But sadly, as a real-life businessman these days:

And Cole and crew commented on it rather than ignored it.

 

When Vince tried to screw Roman out of the title once more, you can tell that Philadelphia was beginning to root for Roman. He still got it as a heel, and to see him punch out Vince was so satisfying.

Seriously, it's vinnie Mac. He is one of the greatest heels in Wrestling IMO. He can probably do some great heel stuff when he sits in his wheel chair one day.

And he actually bled on Raw.

 

P.S.: As long as he never mentions beanstalks or tater tots again, I can't really complain all that much.

Please, let us forget about the tater tots. That was a low point in the rich history of Monday Night Raw.

And yeah, the blood really added to it.

WWE's been unwatchable for me lately (and not just because Seth got hurt )

 

The story lines just haven't been engaging and even when they start to do something good (Undertaker+Kane promo on Wyatt family), it goes on way too long. They waste and job all the best wrestlers (aka Wade Barrett ) and let boring old guys like Kane get screen time. Wrestling can be cool, but they refuse to let it happen. As it is, I can't bring myself to watch it.

It's funny, because not watching Raw just shows me how much free time i have.

It also shows in the ratings of the last few weeks, which have been some of the worst of the last 20 years. The audience is just sick and tired of the product. It dosen't matter if the in wrestling action is decent, you need to give a shit about the guys in the ring and most of the guys just don't do it for me.

I watched TLC last night and people where chanting for CM Punk, Ric Flair and even John Cena in the Sheamus vs. Reigns Title Match. That just shows how little the audience cared if they even want to see Cena.

I just hope that the next Raw still has shit ratings and that the WWE creatives see it as a wake up call.

In times like these, i really wish there was something like a WCW again.

And don't come with TNA. That's an equally bad house all on it's own.

I'm making a small hunch that half of the people using WW Network use it for NXT and the other half use it for the 90s and 80s shows.

If i had the network, i would mostly watch the old WWF, WCW and ECW stuff, just so i can see that it used to be great.

I dunno, Mesme has grown on me. I used to be kind of edgy about snakes and snake-like creatures, and I thought Mesme was a little creepy at first too but.. looking into those eyes... something just... ...

Anyway, Mesme is just a giant lovable hypnotic snake who also happens to also give great hugs! Why would I reject that?

 

Now all I need to do is help find him a theme!

Don't look too long into those eyes. You can get stuck in a trance for hours.

I like the swaying too, because he is of course half snake and it's kinda like a pendulum, which makes it even more hypnotic.

To be fair, the writing for RAW sounds like the creative team are drunk most of the time anyways.

 

Also, I'm just going to pretend that I can't see Sheamus until he loses the title.

Seriously, if it wasn't for these few awesome moments that we saw on raw, i would consider it an even worse show then Impact Wrestling.

Sheamus as champ was outta nowhere and made no sense. He lost and looked like a joke in a midcard match at the Survivor Series and then was crowned champ later. He is not a believable champ and is a worse result then Reigns holding it.

I honestly think the whole WWE announcer crew should go on here. I know JR set the bar really high, but every time I hear their commentary they always sound incredibly bored and sucks out a lot of excitement. Back then with JR/Jerry, and even Cole/Tazz/JBL their commentary could make even weak matches moderately entertaining

 

Hell I really wish JBL would bring back his heel persona he had when he commentated around '06-'07, he was a lot more entertaining then

It was actually a close call between him and Matt Striker, who now commentates the NJPW shows in English. Striker is incredibly obnoxious with his so called "wrestling knowledge" and talks about other wrestling promotions during the event.

But atleast Matt isn't an asshole like JBL, who sounds like he is drunk during Live Raw shows.

Sting is now not very believable in WWE.

 

They've turned him into a joke.

Sting dosen't want to be put over. He already paid his dues and has been called a legend for years. Nothing that the WWE has or will do to him will change that.

The only reason he is there is a large paycheck, Merchandise Money and a Hall of Fame Ring, because he still wants to live off these T-Shirt and Blu-Ray sales after he will retire, which will be very soon. So i am not really that mad about it.

It would be funny to see Sheamus be the champion at Wrestlemania...So Brock Lesnar, who will most likely win the royal rumble, can smash him to bits.

It dosen't fill the ranks though. And honestly, as cool as Lesnar is, i am sick and tired of him being brought in to fill Arenas. Establish new talent god damnit.

I remember reading about how bad SS's booking was. What happened in the main event is good proof of it.

It was also bad for The Undertaker. The guy celebrates his 25th anniversary and they give him this poor match against the wyatts. Nothing against Bray, because i am a big fan of him. But this just wasn't good.

They should've rather put the Hell in a Cell match at that PPV.

And Vince wonders why he's both no longer anywhere near billionaire status and panicking over low ratings.

I say this since months. He needs to move from his chair and let Triple H take over.

I pretty much accepted it for awhile. Eventhough i dislike princess spike, i saw it coming.

Some characters are just destined to be the eternal losers.
