Stardust Balance

It was just so cringeworthy for me, another blatant attempt by Moffat to make Clara this missing puzzle piece to the Doctor's entire existence. A big reason I disliked series 8 was it trying to make it less Doctor Who and instead "The Clara Show."

I think that's the big problem a lot of people have with it. I imagine if it was done by a later companion, there'd still be some complaints, but less so. I really do like Clara actually, but even I agree she seems a bit too "Important" at times. I'm not totally sure if it was just cause Moffat wanted to make her like that specifically, or if it was just ideas for the story in general that all happened to come along at the same time as Clara.

Never mind Hell Bent, which can be considered the ultimate example of "ruined potential."
