Mostly because he has family and friends back home, and h'es essentially been taken there against his will. I decided to go with a more realistic approach to unwillingly being abducted from his home world to something he scarcely knows much about.
Makes sense. Personally I would wait for Discord to be reformed then ask to be turned into um an Alicorn or something. At least a Unicorn. Surviving til then is another story lol.
