I'm guessing the game thought the object was something that can hurt you and the CPU, but instead of the appropriate object, it displayed the Super Leaf. Though, what item could possibly do that?

That's probably it... I thought it could be a unira since it hurt more than once, but usually it wouldn't hurt every player like that... but I can't think of anything else it could be. Maybe that was the item the game thought the Super Leaf was, and it was active (in spiky mode) without any player needing to activate it? =/

Hmm... That's the only explanation I can think, too... =/ Maybe it hurts every player because the game hasn't told the item, who activated it.. =/
